Great reasoning to why they're dishonest, they walked slow in a game lol, or you know, they walked slow to show off some of the great features that game has up close and slowly?
Wow, we're going full tinfoil hat on this one cause they walked slowly in a demonstration video?
The HL2 E3 2003 videos are mostly slow walking as well.
But they didn't discussed any other feauture of the game at that particular moment - they were walking slow while praising HZD's streaming prowess. I have no problem with them walking aslow or even staying idly when talking about
It's more than just this instance, it all piles up. I can make many more examples if you interested.
They are dishonest. That is my point. Full context of all my ramblings in this thread is that DF always was shilly. Up until video from this thread they were careful ennough to disguise it. This time however they went full shill (tittle vs actual video).
Gaben hasn't been praising his engine's streaming power back then, so i say he have a pass from me.
People, i'm not mad at DF that they were walking slow - i am mad (not the most appropriate word here, but english isn't my native tongue, so it will suffice) that they were trying to hide an actual problems with the game.
Shilly, yeah they always have been like that. They're very industry friendly, some or most of it due to them being very enthusiastic about the tech.
Can't say I really have strong feelings about it, but watch their coverage on Danger Zone and Dangerous Driving if you want to see one of the more extreme cases of them talking up a literal turd.
Give us more examples since you have so many.
Yup here we go.
Pre-purchase Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Operator Enhanced Edition to get 3,000 Call of Duty Points and three Operator Packs , each includes a themed Operator skin, cosmetic weapon variant, and additional bonus content.
Did anyone even think they would be including Microtransactions? Because if you did, you're kinda dumb.
I don't think anyone actually expected it not to have microtransactions, the question's moreso if they actually effect gameplay or not this time.
Considering one part specifically states "cosmetic weapon variant", we're getting weapon variants again most likely, I'm expecting it to be like Infinite Warfare but not quite as bad as Advanced Warfare.
ASM1 flashbacks.
In the summer update for Black ops 4 they are adding several entirely new weapons to the game which you can only get from the RNG based loot boxes. To the surprise of basically nobody. And no, you can't unlock the weapons through the battlepass-esque tier rewards you get by playing.
I buy almost every COD but damn if it isn't painful to see how cash-grabby the series is. They're desperately trying to get every last microtransaction they can before their new game comes out.
Can you imagine if a game like Overwatch had a hero you could only get from a loot box and the chances are something like 1/10,000?
