He plays the game a lot; it's not very unrealistic, Rocket League is in its own league in terms of gmameplay experience. My friend has easily played it for over 2000 hours.
I wish I had more time every day to play more and get better. I feel like after playing 2 hours, I’m in my zone and things usually go well. To get to 2 hours is a different story though
I'm completely unable to understand when I'm able to play good.
Sometimes I'll be very unfocused and unable to do things, other times I feel like I can see everything and react instantly
My issues are more with the people I get matched up with. It may be because it's rumble, the only mode I really play by myself, but it seems like a majority of the time, my teammates are content with sitting in goal or not going up for kick-offs, and occasionally I'm pretty sure I've had teammates that have unbound their jump button with how little they go up in the air to defend, meanwhile even though I'm only high plat, I consistently face people who can consistently dribble or air-dribble.
It's mostly about not being confident with the players on your team. If you play random, there is almost no communication except for quick chat so people are easier to make mistakes. If that happens, you play more careful which means you'll probably go for a lot less shots because you don't know if there is someone double commiting or if there is someone to back you up. It's kinda a vicious circle
You're best not to solo-q until C2+... even then you still get double commits, but players are a lot more mindful of their rotations and positioning.

The ball can't be dribbled when curveball is enabled. It would be great if they could modify the physics so the ball has less friction against the car or something so you can still carry it or knock it small distances without it going crazy. The swerve effect is amazing though.

Just got home from work, grabbed some food and turned my pc on to play some RL, but I guess my pc wasn’t feeling it. Didn’t turn on and started to smell something burning so unplugged it and now it’s kinda dead I think. Can already feel the money that I’ve made today vanish from buying new parts. Good way to start the weekend

Ya, tried it with a different psu, still nothing. My psu is dead, that’s for sure(tested it in my gf’s pc), but I’m starting to think my mobo is dead too? Or the wire to the case switch is burnt out, I dunno.

So everyone seems to be freaking out about the Epic buyout. I'm wary of Epic as their store/brand strategy is a bit shit imo but that doesn't mean the game is going to go to shit. I won't really care so long as I can still get any new DLC and (if I wanted to but probably won't) still get keys/tokens through Steam.
