It baffles me that there are literally no prerequisites to begin the Thieves Guild quest when there used to be in Oblivion. It's not hard to make the game only trigger Brynjolf's dialogue if you actually are a thief of some sort so it's just insane that they thought it would be good for the game to not have that by default. Same with the Dark Brotherhood. One of the most secretive and hard to access organizations in the fucking world and they recruit you basically off the side of the road. Skyrim's complex with shoehorning every last bit of quest content down the player's throat is aggravating and possibly one of the worst issues I have with the game even to this day.
Legacy of the Dragonborn is threatening to swallow me whole. I must collect.
TESO seems to do that a bit more than Skyrim. Especially the recent Clockwork City DLC.
Cant wait for VR Skyrim 1 more day oh yesss
It's not always conveyed well but the common folk don't necessarily know about any of this, and it isn't regular occurrence to them - they're just too uneducated on the issue to really pinpoint it and thus react to it accordingly. See how the people of Dawnstar react to their nightmares. It's kind of different in Morrowind because the Dunmer are more in touch with Daedric culture and thus more accustomed to the esoteric aspects of the world around them, but it's somewhat of an exception in the TES games we've had thus far.
my c0da has dwemer rifles being canon
Biggest wish for ES VI would be for magic to be fleshed out like it was in Morrowind. I wanna make my own spells and jump from one city to another again.
Skyrim's magic is so damn boring and formulaic. But I love that in the Dragonborn DLC, if you tell Neloth you're the Archmage he basically laughs at you and calls you a shitter.
Need better villain. Mannimarco, but crueler
