I think that it's a fun way to kill time while anticipating the release, but it should be made by choice.
hornypinecone should go in a conversation with a couple of the people that worked on the video, not all but probably 2-3 in a steam convo. Watch the finished product togethor and do afew things:
1. Think of a title that has to do with the plot.
2. Make a poster that has to do with the plot ( OneFourth poster has to do with his clip, not really the whole plot).

The title will be chosen during an early screening of the film shown only to the members of the collaboration. People submit their title name ideas, other people thumbs them up. Most thumbs win. That's the current plan but it could change over time.
As far as posters go I don't see why they're necessary. We're not screening this at an actual theatre. So they seem pointless to me. Just a fun activity to kill time.
If you can't make a poster that doesn't spoil the plot don't make a poster. This isn't a mandatory activity. Also, I've never seen a poster that's so obliviously obvious it spoils the plot, or a major plot twist of the film.
