Had fun messing around with this for a while, made this video as a quick test of some of the features. Will definitely be trying out new stuff in the near future to actually create something worthwhile.
Also there's that weird audio echo when I imported the breaking bad clip, anyone know why that might have happened?
These are stupid small videos I did to get the hang of SFM. Still can't figure out how to remove that door in the beginning of A Touching Story...
I just kind of had to. It's obligatory to make at least one MtE remake.

Oh god that ending got me...
Here's the 'completed' version of my remake of the breakfast scene from Pulp Fiction I posted some progress on earlier in the thread. It's still got problems, such as clipping models, loads of bloom at the start, and some harsh animations early on, but it's taken me a week or so and I want to get on with some other things.

How the hell did you get a custom map to work, for me it always turns the screen black and I can't do shit.
Show me your wisdom.
Oh dear god, what the hell have I replaced!?

Props to anybody who knows where this audio comes from.
First try at anything serious.
Also; the mouths looked good, but SFM at the last moment botched them.
I know its one of your first animations but try and give models some sort of "idle" animation, like breathing in a way.
Could be something as small as moving their head
tip: Don't touch his bosoms.

Tried to replicate a cutscene from a Visual Novel since it was pretty complex and seemed like good practice.

very very neat, love the lighting
Finally made something with a decent amount of editing.

Little thing I'm working on, any suggestions?

I think it'd be more effective if you have the red guy sitting without the gun, then walking to the lockers with his 'shit's about to get real' look, then running with the gun.
Right now you have four shots in a row of him just sitting there, then suddenly he's running from the corner of the room. That doesn't flow that well. Try to avoid edits where a character suddenly appears in a vastly different position without having some previous shot of how they got there.
Then you have a shot pulling away to go across the map, that's a good transition. But you follow it with about five more empty shots before you show us the blue guy, that's not good. You only need one establishing shot, to let us know where the blue guy is, before you show him to us.
First video

so I just finished my first video with this thing. I think I'm getting the hang of the basics, but I've got a long way to go before I'm ever decent with it.

Give him some upper face expressions, make em change slightly every so often
Can't wait to see some scenes from HL/HL2 recreated in SFM, with proper lighting and ambient effects...
in this preview of a 5 minute film i'm making, we test SFM's ability to portray jazz:
