Spent my day on this one. I had no set plot or anything besides making fun of the inevitable flood of RvB parodies. It kind of got away from me in the best way possible. Almost every major event in this video was inspired by a mistake I made during the production.
Edit: Some explanation as to way the video is a hilarious mess.
The Blu sniper prolly said like 10 different things over the course of editing, Before I settled on grumbling.
I had decided the hat would talk after I accidentally left it locked to the other animating sniper's head causing it to bob. I had it talking with Diglet sounds, then sped up pyro lines, and quotes from that MLP documentary. I finally settled on the "Super Saiyan kid" after I found a archive I made of the youtube video deep on my computer.
The short originally ended after the soldier said "Oh" but while lighting the rest of the scenes I found a bunch of train models, it was then I knew what I had to do.
While touching that part up I figured I might as well do a classic floating-hat shot. Why not right?

Yeah, duplicated like thirty times :rolleyes:. Also had to modify the seed parameter manually for most of them otherwise it ended up with really solid looking rain...
