Does Brekel even have support for two?
Does Brekel even have support for two?
It does not. There's another package out there that does work with two Kinects, but it's pretty expensive. IpiSoft costs $595 for the "Basic" edition, which is the minimum required to use 2 Kinects. The "Standard" edition can support two also and can support multiple actors. Brekel may not use multiple inputs but it's accessible, stable and free of charge. Ipisoft has an educational license but it's not much of a discount. If you're a student or a veteran you can get educational versions of Motion Builder and Maya, but otherwise they're also very expensive.
Save up, get 2. Accuracy is important
In that case, better start saving 595 dollars / 620 euros (!!!!) for the basic license of iPi DMC. Here's what one kinect = layered touch-ups can do:
Also, for what it's worth, the author of Brekel says that it's theoretically possible. He hasn't implemented it yet, not sure if he plans to or not- but at the least it's something he knows people want.
it's too detailed because people move "normally" with more exxagerated movements and quicker/fast ones, mocap can fit tf2 very well
That is what I was trying to say. Sadly my mind didn't feel like cooperating.
Dante Vs Vergil from DMC3. my first try at SFM. hope you like it. i was mostly just practicing on camera movements, hand animations and lipsyncing. this is 100% hand-animated, except for the idle breathing sequence..
