On the spy, all of the facial flexes above the mouth were fine. Everything below the nose was fucking insane.

don't use a colored rimlight, use a mostly white rimlight as a small highlight on the outline, with a collored fill light instead, you'll get mostly the same effect but your characters will be more defined in the frame. I dig the facial animation, though the lipsync is a little dodgy.
