Holy Jebus calm down shaky cam. When making a shakey cam make sure you don't set the jitter filter up to full. And also only set it to rotation and not rotation, position, and all the other camera controls.
I locked the camera's transform position to bip_pelvis.
I locked the camera's transform position to bip_pelvis.
Lock it to something else that doesn't move a lot for example the root, then give it some jitter and smoothen it if you want it to be more shaky, just don't exagerate. Here's what you get by simply locking and getting the playhead preset all the way to the right enable annotations
That's a horrible idea. The pelvis is the root of all motion for the legs, which move the most out of any bone. Lock it to something like the neck or even the roottransform if you don't want any shake.
locking to root and jittering (then will most likely need to smooth, jitter's kinda powerful even when very low) works as well, even better than locking to neck.

Playing around with Episode 2 content. Magnusson is probably one of the funniest characters in the game!

Nice! The only flaw I noticed was her eyes.

I think she could have used a microphone.
This is my first SFM video, thought i should post it here. Animation is still clumsy, lots of things could be fixed, but i am tired of making this video (100+ hours), so i decided not to improve it futher. Link to the video on steam - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=91535376
That was in-fucking-credible for a first video. I loved it. I can't wait till you get even better if this is your starting point. Make a youtube so I can subscribe already.
test test test...
-The tf2 bot models don't have hwm and most can't move their jaws -Youtube somehow made the first shot look butt ugly by doing lightning corrections without asking
Has anyone done this yet?

For those of you who don't check the subforum page often. Any feedback is welcome!
I still can't believe that nobody has used the robot models to do Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots... Don't expect Pixar quality work from this. I just whipped it up cause I thought it was funny.

Should have tried to do something about those facial animations. [sp] Plus sounds are offsync because I had to add them back via Sony Vegas, because SFM is having its weird problems agian.[/sp] Also is there HWM version available of that Misc Item? [editline]28th August 2012[/editline] Also am I only one who can't get SFM to operate with sounds correctly? It keeps cutting almost always half or all sounds off.
I'm actually showing off a shot that I'm keeping in the full film, for once.
Finished my last video. Total hours spent Animating 18 hours rendering 9 hours-5 renders All around. I think I enjoy it.
So this is my first SFM video after finishing the tutorials last night. Really this was just me getting used to the tools and functions and working out how to do things. Stuff to finish: Finalise lighting, smooth camera movement, tone down/redo spy idle/breathing animation, redo shitty head shake, tighten up lipsync and have lips momentarily close for "p" in "spy" and redo facial expressions, animate gun and create muzzle flash, colour correction and add an introduction and conclusion. Probably some other stuff as well but that's what I can list off the top of my head. I'm looking for feedback so If anyone has any tips or pointers, feel free to share.
