Just a test. I think I did pretty decent with the manual lip-syncing, considering it was my first time doing it.[/QUOTE]
Thats really well done. Would have looked a little better if he kept the smile while he was talking.

When you export to the MPEG4 codec (NOT the MP4 filetype, but the codec specifically, which is a seperate option), it turns out really dark. Best thing to do (if you don't want to deal with stitching together images via Virtualdub) is to export to H.264, which is also a codec option for MP4. Most people will tell you to export to MOV as I think H.264 is the default codec, but they don't realize you can use that to export in MP4 just fine.

Thanks. It's weird though, ever other codec I use just makes the video pure black. :\

Mediacoder screws with my RGB and bitrate.
Windows Live Movie makers wmv compression seems to keep everything intact better for me.
Maybe I'm just doing it wrong.

The camera movement is a little frantic. Otherwise great stuff overall.

I agree. Went a little overboard with the camera.

still trying to get fluid animations down.
Work in progress. Need to finish the rest of the scene and improve lip syncing, animation, etc.

I'd started wondering if animating all those details is really valuable enough.

I personally think that it's too slow, it should be sped up. It's really looking nice though.
