Ah! I've missed this thread. My internet is terrible at the moment and it wont be fixed for several days hence why I haven't posted a reply to this update yet!
Anywho, looking good.
The only difference I seem to notice is the description font?
Any particular reason why that would be the one major thing to not be correct?
Seems like something trivial.
As DP Films said, gold for the title might be interesting, thought due to the use of gold as the download link it could possible be overkill.
Going back to my earlier suggestion about giving the comment areas some sort of colored banding, I'm starting to think perhaps the item pages themselves could use some of this too.
The title, uploader, description, tags and download links all sort of cluster together. They could perhaps use some subtle colored backgrounds to their box to help separate them?
The difference in font is due to GD and its rather strange handling of fonts.
We originally did it unbolded but you couldn't read what it said so decided to go with bold.
As for the other suggestions, maybe.
Doesn't know how to use PHP GD then because you can basically do anything in it with text like in photoshop. Probably the anti aliasing?
Maybe also add a forum for non downloadable resources, like how I made this:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ApNVp9AQW4OsdGluNG9rZDliOVppQ1FqYWxjSWk1NFE#gid=0
Can't download it but it is still a nice resource.
Like I said before id be glad to join Miz in helping development.

Aware it can be done with GD, it just didn't look right.
Site is also going to have text resource pages and some usermade tutorials, but those will be setup by the administrators not the users for now.

Please teach me your ways, because it appears that I know nothing and the outcome I chose is by far the worst looking of all.
What a great project for the community!

Agreed!
Apart from about two others, this is pretty much the only thread I'm regularly checking up on with anticipation.

I feel bad for getting into skyrim again lately, its taken over my priority to the site.
Think its time I played less and made more templates.

Pfff, you guys are doing something awesome to help people out.
Don't feel bad for playing Skyrim. I'd rather you worked on this when you feel inspired and excited about it, than for it to turn into something you feel forced to complete.

Edit page template.

Added icons to edit and delete submissions and report comments.
Also about the comment of having Do What The Fuck You Want To Public License as the default license being unprofessional, it's actually an approved and accepted license by the Free Software Foundation. :v:

It still feels unprofessional regardless. But if you'd rather keep it, that's your decision of course.
Loving the new icons though.

As crude as the license might sound its closer to a true public domain license and when compared to say, GNU GPLv3 which is a slightly misleading license as its not truly public, it still has restrictions.

Fair enough I suppose. Transparency with a license helps.
Hyped about this. One question.
If a group of people work together to make one pack or anything and they want to upload, they're going to have a bottleneck because one person will be more credited than the others in the project. Would you consider this feature where you add contributors and state their role in that specialized project in the upcoming future? You do not have to implement it right now as most models are just made solo.

Contributors can be credited but not their roles.

Alright. Thanks for telling me. Probably didn't see this because everyone calls me blind in real life. IT's just I'm lazy.

Nope just blind.

Think I'm gonna start on doing the tutorial pages soon, if you have any tutorials which haven't been posted on FP but are decent feel free to post them.
The authors will be credited and linked to on all tutorials added to the site.
Personally I love the template, but at the same time I feel its too small somehow. Could it be the panel on the right? idk.
-snip wrong thread sorry-
Has this just been forgotten or something? It'd be a real shame to see something like this just lay down and die.

I agree with you man. I'd love to see this website go up.

Not forgotten, just slow development due to reality.
Finished up home/browse/top pages.

Looking good Miz!
I didn't see you anounce the site anywhere but the google found me this.
Most of the funtions didn't work but I could login. Looking good atm.
Can you make ctrl+enter for 'post commnet'?

The site itself hasn't been officially announced yet in a manner of speaking.
I've assumed that's to stop everyone flooding to the site and playing with things and uploading content while the site is still being worked on.

Pretty much this.
Took a look at the web. It looks like and detailed. There's nothing I'd complain about.
I came across one thing, a submission that didn't seem to have main record.
Could someone who uploaded explain what happened with:
