I don't appreciate your overly zealous tone. You're behaving as if participating in V1 automatically grants you entry to V2. Nothing you have on your channel shows me you're capable of an action scene. All you've done is pre made motion capture, and poorly done facial animation. Even your entry to V1 was mostly motion capture based. That is why you haven't been accepted.

Coming to Ugleh's defense, the same could be said for you. Looking at your YouTube channel, I guess the only video you could call "Action" would be Spy V. Engy, and even then there ins't really an action scene. Whoever makes these collabs shouldn't be super strict in letting people join, especially if he only lets people with a skill level higher than his in.

I dont have time to make videos, I am in college. Id be glad to do a 30 second clip like I did before, but there is no action movies on my youtube channel because I have no focus on it when im focused on other stuff. Instead I make tutorials on how to do stuff. At one point in time I will make a video but at this moment I am too caught up in other stuff to worry about a 2 minute project where id have to create my own plot.

I'm allowing entrants whom I find to be capable of preforming the task at hand, in. I find Uglehs incapable of doing so; as well you. I am making this judgement by what you both have made available to the public. In your defence, you may wonder if I'm capable myself. Judging by what I've made available to the public. My rebuttal is: I don't upload all my videos. I try to keep my channel relatively up beat, by only uploading my comedic videos. Having that said, I find myself more than capable of executing a action scene.

Using your segment from your statement I'd like to segway into another conversation I've been waiting to confront. "[I]Whoever makes these collabs[/I]". I find the mentality of most Facpunch users (especially here in the SFM section) is, desperate for attention. With Source Filmmaker releasing relatively recently people seem to be trying way to hard to get as much [I]e-fame[/I] before the hype dies down. It seems as if people are willing to do anything for a couple subscribers. How this applies to the collaboration is I fear once I decide to end it, someone will immediately start it again. Some times good things have to die. Some things don't need to go as long as v56. I believe this is one of those things. I also fear, someone will make their own version before I'm done. I'm pretty sure you, Uglehs, and Engy having been thinking about it. These are just my personal concerns and I thought it would be good to get them out there.

While I agree that being part of V1 shouldn't immediately grant you access to V2 (I was honestly expecting to not get in) and that it IS your decision to let people in or not, I don't think that its right to hold Uglehs to a standard you do not hold yourself to. You haven't made your own work that says you're capable available to the public either, so it's hypocritical to chastise him for not doing so and cite it as a reason.

I find it even more ridiculous that you say you fear that people will keep making collabs, HOW is that a bad thing? People will make collabs if they want to regardless if you say they should or not. If it was say a series where we maintain a consistent story arch, I can understand that, cuz things like that which have similar elements get stale overtime, but something like this, with constantly changing players, and constantly changing plots and characters, does not fall under the same problem. You didn't exactly invent collaborative films.

You only upload comedic videos? Anyone may may do the same, and not get chosen for entry. That isn't fair.

The "Whoever makes these collabs" was meant as in the future of the ptt project, whoever keeps doing it. Also, you don't have a monopoly over collaborations on the internet.

In my opinion nobody should be doing this collab if doctordarken is going to be like this. Anyone on the current list should drop out and then one of us make a new thread. Call it something else with the same rules.

Again, I still don't think being in the previous thread should instantly make you an entrant for the collab, as if everyone just kept coming back it'd be kinda stale. Though I definitely think you two deserved being back in way more than I did and that the OP is being absolutely hypocritical about this.

I would also be willing to start a new thread as well, though really at this point I'd support anyone else making a new thread.

Uglehs. Most of your videos are imported motion capture. Your entry to V1 was motion capture. I don't really like motion capture. It looks odd and out of place to me. All I have to judge is what you've uploaded on your channel. If you have other videos that you haven't uploaded. PM me them. my entry was not all motion capture. only the death scene and even that was not motion capture. tell me how someone motion captured an ejection like that? It was however recorded bone for bone from a ragdoll on gmod.
