I've had some film ideas in my head, so I started modeling some custom props. Like the cabrio, rigged road, buildings and of course the giant octopus. I haven't finished much animating yet.... I think that octopus will open up a whole new avenue for SFM prons if it ever gets released...... so I would keep it for yourself..... :quagmire:

You can also try typing in buildcubemaps as well, either one should work :D.

Tonemapscale and HDR jack up the cubemap's brightness to subsonic LSD levels of RGB. Removing them all together or lowering the brightness are the only fixes unfortunately.

I'd move the jaws and lips more manually if I were you, (if you're using the default phoneme things) blargh nevermind, my Engrish is impossible and I kinda suck at explaining things :dance:

I'll have something up later today that I know a few people really want. Took quite a bit of time to manually change most of the the uv's since you should never rotate normals in any way other than 90 and 180. I'm looking for critique on [URL="http://www.mediafire.com/listen/8iec787sy3sz7c5/evil_c_note.wav"]this[/URL] sound for an upcoming video. On the surface, the sound is just a sustaining contra-C note, but behind that, wayyy behind that, there's a sequence of harmonics that replay and add a layer of highs to it. Additionally, there is also a distinct droning effect that first originates on both channels, (It's stereo BTW) and accelerates on your right side, separating the left one. When the droning on the right side peaks in pitch, the effect then lowers in pitch after a short time, and the left side's droning effect can be heard catching up. This repeats.

I've progressed further in my video, and I'm starting the next shot. Instead of recording in a first person camera, I've decided to animate it all myself. Viewmodel, camera and everything. I was wondering if anything seems off compared to how things actually look in first person. Is the camera too high/low? Is the scattergun too far/close to the camera? How is the FOV?
