Sorry about how the head looks. I suck at drawing girls.
This is going to be the next big TF2 trend. Hopefully.

oh, hello new page
[t]http://uppix.net/K8vsbl.png[/t]
Big update on farmer,
huge thanks to Pw0nageXD for showing a brand new way to make HWM models!
Scoutsniper??!?
I personally can't do much to support the project myself, that is, unless spreading the word counts.
Can't wait to see this. It's looking amazing fellas.
This looks really cool.
I can do animation, modeling and some mapping and texturing.

Is there a tutorial or reference guide online showing this at all?
It would be very useful for us learners :-)

Here's tutorial #1 from Gamerman12. It starts out with how to work Maya and the Valve plugins. This is mostly explaining the concept behind HWM. Later in to the video he talked a bit about dmxedit. He's waiting on a response from Bay on a question before he makes part 2 (which will explain DMXedit a lot more in depth).
wooo awning skin/props

making multiple skins for one model is more tedious than I thought
not much but it's still content

Couldn't we have made one skin that was Paintable?
Couldn't we have made one skin that was Paintable?
Probably. That thought really never entered my head, I don't have any experience making anything paintable though. I'll look into it later and see what I can do

For mappers, it'd generally be better if it was skins, not the paint system.

paintability relies on alpha maps. In SFM, it's possible to use those, but it'll be better for mappers if its just skins

I thought thats why we have the dropbox
I thought thats why we have the dropbox
I wanted to share the finished product, i was so close to upload it...
I wanted to share the finished product, i was so close to upload it...
Well using the dropbox even with unfinished work is really why its there, so not only will everyone have up to date content but also for safe storage for say Hard Drive failure.
In my opinion anyway...

did you not upload the sources?
well, hopefully you can get it back!
