OP is way over his head
Also, by your schedule. It will take 80 days to animate 5 minutes. 16 days for 1 minute of animation. Die Hard 1 has a run time of 131 minutes. 131 minutes x 16 days per minute equals... [sp]2,096 days[/sp] Can't wait to see 6 years worth of dedication pay off! Well, see you in 2018 buddy!
We're not talking about time it takes, we're mostly focusing on your motivation. You cant imagine how hard it is to work on same project for hours and hours. Even with 5 min clip you wouldnt finish it at good standards !

Ok, how about working on a mini mod for months on end, and deciding that the first 3 maps are really crappy so you have to change the next 5 maps to tie in with the new 3 maps? Been there. Done that. If you think I need more motivation, why do all you guys try to shatter my dreams? You should be giving me advice on how to aproche this, but no, you guys are trying to stop me doing this, then you say that i don't have enough motivation! The only person that has done anything to help is Derp Y Mail and Slacker, but I do think Spy Hard sounds a bit stupid unless Spy is John... Think before you post, stop contradicting yourselfs on what you are trying to convey!! (Is that how you spell convey? It looks kinda weird! Lol)
Haha I can't wait for a week from now when you realize that you can't recreate a 2 hour long film in SFM... "What the fuck was I thinking?"
Do what you want dude, nobody here cares I guess. The seems really stupid for a 14 yo kid to make a 1000+ hours project on a random film. Start by remaking a 15min length clip, after that you would sound way more realistic.

"What the fuck was I thinking?"
**Smiles at screen** Not if I take it as it comes, working with the soundtrack cut up into little peices and the actual film as a reference, and have the move split over lots of different projects for each 2 or 3 shots.
OP doesn't realize that stress comes with hard work
What on earth are you even trying to prove? In the time that you've spent trying to disprove us on our views of your dedication and motivation, you could have done work on this project. I think this is a terrible idea because A, it's uncreative. If you wanted to pour so much hard work and dedication into something, wouldn't you rather produce something 100% original? B, it's a waste of time. Die Hard is an amazing movie, and I don't want to see you shit allover it with a a horrible SFM remake. C, it's impossible. The current state of the SFM is in no way meant to handle a full length feature film, hence why most of the videos made with it are short films ranging between 3 and 5 minutes in length. and D, you have so far shown us nothing. This thread was made at least 24 hours ago, and by this point I would have expected to see at least something from you. Instead, the only work I see from you are hot-headed posts explaining why all of us are wrong about you.

There you go Luke, now you don't have to make a poster or think of a title. That should knock about 1 hour of work off. Now you only have 2,095 days at 23 hours of work left!
Hey OP, the only way you could come close to completing this is if you find like minded people who know there way around SFM and you collab together. Good luck either way.
Recreate the trailer for Die Hard, then post it for people to see. That'll accomplish a few things. You'll get a taste of what you are facing in terms of expectations vs reality, and people will see just how capable you are(or aren't).

That's the point, use what you have now and improvise. Push yourself to recreate that trailer, shot for shot, as best you can. If you can't even motivate yourself to do the trailer, what does that say about your chances of doing the full film?
did you ever do this OP
