Butthurt both of you.
And now, the AAR of our 5 hour game. The Middle Ages Rome (Uberman7788) was founded in Great Britain, with the territories of Ireland and Northern France. Greece (Profanwolf) was founded in Greece, with Turkey under its control. Japan (Mentlegens) was founded in Spain, with North Africa and several Italian Islands in its domain. Germany(Matt) had control over Sweden and Northern Germany. China (LeonS) ruled over Russia. After the founding of the soon-to-be mighty empires, many early treaties were put in place. Rome created a non-aggression pact and a trade charter with Greece, while Germany, China, and Japan formed a defensive alliance. After these treaties were formed, a period of peace developed. During this peace, Rome converted to Judaism, and sent several missionaries to Japan to spread the word of God. After a while, conversion attempts failed, and Japan demanded the missionaries to leave Japanese territory. However, Rome defended itself from intimidation by enacting an embargo on Japan, and blockading it. Germany tried flexing its naval muscle against Rome, however Deutschland was intimidated by the size of the Roman fleet, and decided to stay neutral in the conflict. Rome kept half of the Imperial Fleet making sure a surprise attack from Germany would not happen. Eventually, China sent aid in the form of an army to reinforce the Japanese borders. Hostilities began to rise as the Roman Priests would not leave Japan, and Rome would not be intimidated by idle Japanese threats. On the brink of all out war between the Asian Alliance (Japan, China) against the Roman Empire, Rome opted out of conflict by removing the priests from Japan. The conflict was now resolved. However, some time later, the Chinese army stationed in Japan tried to return to the mother country. However Rome would not allow the army to cross through France, a Roman territory, so the Chinese army attacked the Roman-Japanese border. The Chinese army was annihilated, and as a result, the Roman army poured into Japan. The Roman army pushed almost half way into the Japanese heartland before meeting fierce resistance, and eventually after both sides experiencing heavy losses, an uneasy truce was worked out between the nations. However, the war between China and Rome would soon escalate... The Renaissance After a brief period of recuperation from Rome, Rome asked Germany to allow its navy to pass through its waters to blockade and eventually invade Northern China. However, Germany refused. Because of this, Rome sent its entire navy of nearly 45 warships to intimidate Germany into letting it through. However, this intimidation did not work, so Rome sent its army to Germany's border. However, Germany was not intimidated. Shortly after resolving to withdraw attempts to go through Germany, as the Roman army was leaving, Germany launched a surprise attack. Both the Roman army and navy were completely destroyed in one fell swoop. Rome soon surrendered, and several military and naval restrictions were put on Rome, and Roman France was occupied by the German army as well as each Roman port blockaded by German warships. As time progressed, China and Greece soon decided that Germany was being cruel, so a joint operation by China and Greece invaded Germany. While the German army was away dealing with a large invasion, a secret Roman army that was built under the nose of the Germans was unleashed on the German homeland. The invasion was a success, and the military and economy of Germany was crippled, however, Germany would not surrender. Greece and China pulled out, and ended hostilities with Germany. Rome continued destroying the German homeland until there was literally nothing left. After some negotiation, Rome left the now barren Germany. Although the armies had stopped fighting, naval hostilities continued, eventually leading to Rome losing all naval power and all ports. Some time later, Rome and Germany created a new peace, however China captured German lands in Scandinavia, causing border disputes that eventually led to continued war. The Age of Enlightenment Germany and China continued conflict in Scandinavia, while the rest of the world was at peace. Japan had been very quiet since the last war with Rome. While rebuilding their military, Rome had experienced sabotage and mass-civilian killings coming from an unknown source. These strange events continued until they were revealed to be coming from Japanese spies that had infiltrated the area. Although no war came of this, the world looked down upon Japan. Eventually, Greece discovered an extraordinarily large fleet that had been built by the Japanese, and it was headed for Rome. Rome immediately called out for all assistance it would need to defend against an invasion of the Roman Capital. However, no assistance came. Some time later, the border dispute was settled between China and Germany, and Germany pledged its fleet to help counter the Japanese Navy on its way to Rome. After what many consider the largest naval battle in history, the Japanese and Roman fleets lay at the bottom of the Bay of Biscay. Because of some confusion regarding treaties, Germany started attacking Roman Homeland. After some destruction, the confusion settled, leaving much of the Roman coastline destroyed. Rome now prepared for an overland invasion from Roman France into Japanese Spain. Rome fielded a very large army, and eventually broke through the Roman-Japanese demilitarized zone that was created in the first war. Rome made it through the Japanese border with little resistance, and while mopping up border defenses, the Japanese army arrived. Both sides suffered extreme losses, but Rome came out victorious. After several more waves of attack from Japan, the original Roman army was defeated. The rest of the fighting was simple border skirmishes, with the occasional small army going into the other side, but not making it far before being destroyed. Eventually, Rome fielded two armies, one that went ahead across the Japanese border, and one that stayed close to the Roman border. The first Roman army inflicted heavy casualties on the Japanese before Japan could barely defeat it. But by the time the first army was destroyed, the second was already crossing the Japanese border. Japan surrendered. No terms of surrender were made except that Japan had to yield the Italian island of Sardinia. Japan refused, and Rome sent in another army. Japan immediately yielded the island. Because of near constant warfare, Rome was severely under-developed, and the economy and military drained. Rome would see no more conflict for the rest of history. The Industrial Age Because of worldwide peace, each nation was able to band together and progress so fast through technology, that this age was completely skipped. WW1 Rome was out of the fight, completely. It would no longer see any wars or diplomacy. (I was AFK till the game ended) Because of internal conflict, China eventually dissolved. (LeonS left) Now the world was down to Germany, Greece, and Japan, with Rome simply watching. Time progressed, and eventually, the first great war started like a fire. Armies clashed with armies, ships clashed with ships, planes clashed with planes until the ultimate fire purged the world. The fighting from each side was the most intense in history. At one point, over 100 planes in a combined Greek-German assault were sent to Japan. Japan fought bravely, and shot down all of them. Greece had become desperate, and sent the newly created Nuclear Bombers to Germany and Japan. Because of constant warfare, each country was very weak. Japan and Germany were completely annihilated in nuclear fire. The remnants of the German and Japanese militaries managed to use nuclear weapons on Greece, creating what is called Mutually Assured Destruction. The world was destroyed. Every civilization was gone, dissolved into small bands of survivors living in the wasteland. Except Rome. Because of Rome's extreme isolationism, it was spared destruction. Rome eventually took over the entire world and everybody lived happily ever after. THE END.
I managed to take out about 50 planes from Germany and Greece at once even though they were completely unnexpected and i didn't much anti-air.

(the player who was germany here) You forgot to include that : I had only 4 teutonic knights in north france, only to know what land army you have. Before you attacked me, I was completely destroyed by china and greece (suddenly over 200 units from china, and 100 from greece), and when you came I had only 2 castles left, 3 towers on the west side(those buildings still destroyed like 90% of your invasion army, derp), and a city up the north, seeing as my naval fleet was busy not letting china rebuild its fleet(destroyed it when they attacked me), it came back late and couldn't help save the city. After that there were alot of surrender demands with terms, I was not going to surrender because I am not a baby and I had a city in sweden. Then china made an invasion on sweden, captured 2 regions, left the main city there alone (what was supported by naval fleet, what was the best fleet the entire game) and so the battles in scandinavia continued untill leon left, I easily grabbed the sweden, continued rebuilding north germany, then I got nuked. And I like how I won every naval battle I had.
:v: [editline]09:16PM[/editline] only mine though
No whoever was germany sent a few aswell.

I wish I could play this :( A friend and I were reminiscing about this game and decided to buy it off of Amazon. When the games finally came, we installed them, tried to play, but it wasn't working. So we asked ourselves why that was, turns out we both had the same CD key. The company sent us pirated copies of the game even though we paid $15 and bought them off a legit website. Eventually we sent them back, but now we don't have a place to buy it from, Amazon was sort of our last hope. Still have the game installed though (Hope this doesn't get me banned <3) so if anyone wants to play it over Hamachi or something...
When are you going to have another game?
Tomorrow(atleast thats what uberman told me on the chat after the finished our game on sunday).
I would play. Sounds fun. Bags Britain!
