Sorry I haven't been able to reply, I've been swamped with work and I got a nasty adware virus.
Its all cleared up now though, so I would like to announce that the next game will be at 11AM EST/ 4 PM GMT, or 1100 AM EST and 1600 PM GMT.
That would be 17:00 GMT +1 then, oh well.

1. We limited the game to a single age.

There is a game, just you don't want to play. Also we are not limited to a single age, we are stopping at age 11 to stop plane spam.
There is game today, I, leon and Profan decided only to stop at age 11, we didn't decide at what age we start (probably at sixth one again). We will play Empire Building, not a normal game.

And by the way, those two ideas proposed go against the entire point of Empire Building.
If you have a problem with something, deal with it in-game, not with limiting gameplay because you don't know how to do something correctly.

One of those idea's we aren't even doing. We are dealing with a problem, plane spam.

I am not sure what plans they had, but I guess they just wanted to tell you it in the chat/in lobby about the idea. And dealing about stuff in game won't work always, for all we know he may decline the propose and just nuke spam everyone.
Then deal with plane spam IN-GAME. Thats the entire point of Empire Building!
If you don't want nukes to fuck everything up, then make treaties and deal with it diplomatically.
Thats how we dealt with it in the original group. Just because you don't know how to deal with something doesn't mean you completely eliminate an entire piece of gameplay.
By the way, if you limit the game in this big of a way, then the game will stagnate and everybody will be bored and leave.
We tried it in the original group and it didn't work.
I'm sorry Uberman but you're just being really thick right now, not used as an insult but you need to be more open minded.
The reason I am so against it is because it didn't happen the last time we tried it.
