I don't think he knows how to make icons, I joined his server once and I guess they had some snowflake weapon for the holidays and I looked at it and I said wait a second I know that image, then I looked in the materials filepath for 420 icons and sure enough icon_cg_snowflake was in the folder.
If that's the case I can try to do it for him.

You seem to know an awful lot about my community and I, while I appreciate the subtle jab I will try to be unbiased as possible with my following comment. That rule in my opinion should be changed you shouldn't hold the player by his balls and not allow him to do something in his natural extinct. For example, if there are only three people alive and one has a shotgun, one has a mac-10 and you hear a guy get killed with a mac-10 even thou you didn't visible see it you should be able to kill him.

Played your TTT server last night and I found that the t menu takes way to long to get a item. For instance I always get body armor at the start of the round, by the time I select it I have to move my mouse all the way to the other side of the screen just to get the armor bought. Sure its the start so I have some time to do it but then there are times when I simply forget to buy it and have to buy it in mid combat while im in cover. Every last second counts in those situations. Now you could simply replace body armor with a knife or any other t weapon.
I think the best way to change this is to either make a small section of commonly bought items next to a buy button or, having the ability to right click on a item and buy it.

I'm terrible at creating icons and generally end up just using whatever I have in my downloads directory.
I added it just after CG went down so at the time I figured it would be of no harm to make use of it. If I'm still using it for something and you want me to remove it then I will.

Thanks, but the problem is that every time a new one is added I'll need you to create a new icon. It'd be a huge amount of effort to recreate every icon we already use as well.

I don't know much at all actually. The only reason I knew he was previously staff on CG was because I looked up his SteamID to search the logs with. "Ex-Head Administrator on Crowbar Gaming" is right at the top of his profile.

There's already a customizable quick-buy/favorites list in the Traitor/Innocent/Detective menu.

When you press it, it'll add that item to your Favorites list located in the top left hand corner. The Favorites folder automatically opens when the menu is opened and you can instantly purchase anything in it by double clicking the name of the item.

This really irks me as well, I'm sure we can get someone to do it. Some items are in the Inno or Detective shop as well, so some need to be blue.
If you have some ideas in mind, I could make some icon mock ups for you guys.

Well to be fair there are some basic ones which do actually check if the user is running sv_allowcslua to 1 or sv_cheats to 1, there are others like dac that check all the known binds. Then there are those that has the administrator manually take a screenshot of another users screen and check for wallhacks or esp.

dac is shit, no one forces sv_allowcslua 1 for many than 1 second on any cheat, and screenshot takers mostly are just detoured.

I'd really recommend ignoring Persious, he goes from community to community looking for positions of power, I've crossed his path a couple of times when he came into a community I was staff in. He promptly left when offered a better position in another community. I'm also pretty sure he's a troll based on the people he associates himself with.
Also if Persious applies for staff on anyone's server I'd recommend denying him, he's basically admitted to me before he has no loyalty. He's only in whatever position he has for the power.

I left with Hemirox because the only server I played on RIOT was PERP, so why would I stick with RIOT when Hemirox left? It makes absolutely no sense. I really couldn't give two shits. I was informing of an observation I made of you in the time I knew you.
I understand some people still care about this stuff but I've moved on from all that shit and I don't care at all now.
I've played on 420servers previously, as I found a nice home that I enjoy playing TTT on. And I'm sure that I'm not the only one that said this but, the name for the community is quite ridiculous. However, that can be easily overlooked when you joined the server. It's obviously quite heavily modded, but for me it's just too much, which is why I left.
The community isn't an issue, from what I can recall. I did remember the players that played on Crowbar Gaming, when I did. So I didn't feel that 'new' in the server, when I first joined. Even though it is a large community, I didn't hear 12 year olds running around and using their mic. And instead I heard mature players using the mic. And the same could be said with the staff, most of them (if not all) were mature and responsible. And did their best moderating regardless of how many players were on the servers. Though, time to time, I did meet those horrendous staff members. But I personally think, they didn't last long with their new rank.
I don't know if this is the message that 420 wants to relay to the players. But I felt during my time on 420 that you needed Donator to even fully enjoy what 420 TTT can deliver. And I can say that donating can be shoved down your throat, from time to time. But, I don't have any issue with that, as a community needs money coming in obviously.
I tried CityWars when it first came up, and had a talk with Tropical about CG. He sounded quite sorrowful about CG going down. As I used to play it with my buddy (who was an Admin on that server.) Personally, CityWars was too bland for me and I didn't enjoy playing on it. The Hunger Games is pretty much survival, but the only issue I had is that it's really hard to get established. I played during the Alpha stage (if it was called that.) And the "no-lifers" would have great weapons and quickly kill you, without a fight. And making you spectate the other 9 minutes, only to respawn to have the same fate. I did read that there is now a lvl. 1-10 server now. Which sounds good, since Tropical is listening to all types of feedback, and improving it slowly.
I never got a chance personally to try MiniGames but I will give that a go. Sounds promising, though.
Played on the city wars and i must say, it can be unbearable and frustrating to play. The rules make no sense and if you have a problem with some of the admins, expect a hard time playing. The older admins tend to abuse the system alot and when they caught out (on forums as well), it's impossible to get them demoted. I've been banned by admins that deleribly sit there and wait for me to do anything stupid when i raid them to often. There was one case where i was in a raid, and killed the dude while he was delivering the drugs and got instanly kicked when i killed him, which means i lost the drugs i coulda stole). Later on, the admin had no idea i was in a raid because he was so use to people just killing people at spawn (you will understand if you are a regular player).
I found my self leveling up to tier 9 very quickly got got bored. Most suggestions aren't taken srsly & the creator never comes on which gets me thinking why does the server crash every day (apparently it's been over a year and there are conspiracy theories floating around how its purposely done like that to get ppl buying donator+). I've never seen the owner on nor do i see him making any changes. The car selection is horrible and never gets updated. You will find that this server is all about stats and titles meaning you can get trusted+ / admin powers pretty quickly. You will find most admins in noclip all the time and most players are at the age of 12 to 17. I found my self dominating that server to the point where players were complaining every move i was doing because they were to busy farming. The server is a joke, shame that 1 -3 admins can ruin your gmod experience cause now i cant find any other server that has this type of game mode.

I don't play city wars, so I don't know the situation on there, but the admins shouldn't be doing anything like that, and anything with valid proof on the forums will get them demoted.

While I have played 420 servers so I don't fall into this category, I'm also in the belief that you don't need to try horse shit to know it doesn't taste good. But in this case I don't think horse shit =/= servers. For something like a server, it's a bit ridiculous to criticize harshly without trying it.
Horseshit is a different thing; it's common knowledge that shit is not good, so why would horseshit be good? Is there ever horseshit that tastes good? However, for servers, there's the complete possibility that there are good servers and not only bad ones.

I'm going to quit while I'm ahead before I get in an argument about horse shit. I will say you can look at a server, you can look at it's mechanics, you can look at gameplay footage and you can know you won't like it. As for me I've played the server, I don't like the big giant stack of stolen weapons. There are just too many, but some people do. So if they like it good for them, but some people have the right to dislike these types of servers. TTT is a game about finding out who the traitor is when you add fucking mechs into the gameplay you almost question why the hell are you not just sitting in sandbox playing with all this shit. I don't play Dota 2 and probably won't because I've looked at the gameplay and it doesn't look appealing to me. That doesn't mean everyone is going to have the same opinion as me. At the end of the day play what you enjoy but, people are allowed to have opinions so respect them.
