No. Don't expect them to respond. Unless there's something wrong with it, it'll sit in their inbox until they write a turn. They will read it, write the turn, post the turn, and then delete your PM. Then you send another.

Alright, this may be a tad bit long, but here, my race's info and such. With detailed information on ships and such. I'm hoping that for this race, they, instead of having fusion engines, have very big and crude laser weaponry (As in, really only works on starships, but a man-wieldable prototype is in the works, just not combat ready yet), at the cost of having only PLASMA engines, which are really only good for local system exploration. This is explained in the racial info.

Yes, but these Terrans are not exactly the Terrans already in the game.. They're not biomechanically augmented, for one, and they come from another galaxy, as well. We could always give my Civilization's Race another name.

Much less efficient in atmospheres as well.), Plasma Engines (Slower then fusion by a lot, but still efficient. Makes up for the basics in Lasers, in exchange for lack of space flight, there's a slight bit of better firepower in the form of big but unwieldy lasers.)

If anything, they're at a disadvantage due to having only Plasma Engines, which arent as efficient as Fusion Engines. This is made up for having Laser Weaponry (But no real way to produce them, do remember they were thawed out recently, according to the racial info, which means they've likely forgotten all of their knowledge, and decrypting the database on the convoy ships will take a bit of time.) Their ships are powerful, but again, they've forgotten how to produce them, the Lightning is a prototype ship, if anything, from before the convoy crashed, hence on why it has a Plasma Cannon. It wont be deployed unless it's absolutely needed (Or until they learn Plasma Technology again, whichever comes first.) What they have for fleets is what they manage to repair from the convoy's hanger bays, which takes 3 turns compared to the normal two (Further giving them a disadvantage) Until they can unlock the knowledge of Spaceships again (Which brings it down to two turns/fleet production, the same as the rest of you.) True, but the flight, fleet production, and research capabilities were heavily nerfed to hell and back. Plasma Engines are a fuckton slower then Fusion Engines, and as such arent really that great for Intergalactic transportation (Now Interplanetary it's amazing, if a bit slow), Lasers/Fusion Missiles cant exactly be produced just yet (Only the first fleet produced will have them until they're researched, then it's back to Powered Cannons and Missiles for the next few fleets.), And the ships need to be repaired and prepped for use, due to the age and damage over time, so it takes an additional turn to produce a fleet, until the key to starships becomes researched and decrypted.
How about you start like everyone else and research what you want hrmm?

Also really, Plasma is Fusion. Plasma is given off during the Fusion process. That's what the sun is. A giant ball of plasma fueled by nuclear fusion.

Hence on why these Terrans are Extragalactic-It took them 200 YEARS to reach this galaxy due to the plasma engines on their craft (Mainly due to damage from Aliens in their galaxy, but still). If anything, the current Races have a huge benefit of having much faster spaceships.

I still don't want you to have lasers.
It's not like you're gonna make a beeline for the system, are you? Besides, they're much less efficient at being lasers due to how they were mainly prototypes by the time the convoy went into Cryostasis. Projectile Weaponry is still much better then the lasers currently being used by the craft.
Here's the thing.
We all started the same. We didn't get to pick and choose starting tech. So neither do you. Start the same like everyone else or go away. You're not special and you don't get special treatment.

BUT GROX HAD TO RESEARCH THAT. I don't care if it's not efficient. Mine for example, is used for mining. The point is, you must to start with basic technologies like everyone else.

The Particle Weapons aren’t much more devastating that large munitions, but have no recoil and are far more accurate and fast.
-The Imperial Fleet begins the production of more fleets.
-Siphoning of gases from the recently discovered nebula yields large amounts of helium and hydrogen, which can be used in fusion-based engines.
-The Shaara Belt is renamed to the Outran Belt, and is host to a new shipyard building project, orbiting near one of the larger belt objects. The mining outpost in the Belt is now fortified with defenses in the form of orbital cannons.
-The First Imperial Fleet moves towards a distant system. Its instruments pick up 2 large gas giants in this system and at least 8 moons to both.
-The Second and Third Fleets begin to traverse towards nearby systems.

-Innovation allows for the discovery of Hyperspace Drives. These drives allow a ship to open a hole through the quantum fabric and traverse through Hyperspace, a normally sealed Fourth-Dimensional plane. The allow for the traverse of large areas at a higher speed than FTL drives, but come with the large risk of losing the ship in Hyperspace during transport. Hyperspace drives can only be applied to Frigates and larger, which as of yet the Confederacy does not possess.
-Sol’s defenses are increased through further application of orbital cannons.
-Isis is renamed “The Rhine” and the nebula “The Siberian Winds”.
-A research force is landed on the near surface of the planet-sized-ship near the sun. The team is unable to stay on the surface for long before the object’s rotation would place them in direct heat and sunlight. It is determined that it is a ship, and the team brings back with them materials from the apparent hull. It is determined to be made from melted carbonite steel, an incredibly durable but expensive material. The Confederacy is yet to enter the ship, and it is determined it is too large to move.
-A fourth system nearby is discovered and colonization begins on an outer rocky body.

-The First Fleet changes direction towards the galactic center.

-Landing at a system they call Helios, on the planet Terra, the Republic begins the process of colonizing the planet and making it fit for their new civilization after fleeing from their former home. War hero Jack Reyulant is elected leader. Terrans appear as tall and tan humans.
-Immediately Terran scientists begin work on improved weaponry, and successfully create small, hand-held laser weapons. The weapons are bulky and dangerous, but offer personal protection.
-The Terrans begin the process of salvaging from their massive transport ship for resources. The Titanium, Scandium and Nickel allow for the construction of basic armors.
-A 15% flat tax is enacted, but as the wealth is rather evenly distributed, it provides no qualms with the population over unfair taxation.
-Terran Orbitals, a mining company, is set up and begins mining resources from Nuva, Terra’s moon. This yields Helium-3 which provides bountiful power to the Terran colony.
-The First Fleet is constructed from ships discovered in the main transport ship’s docking bay.
-Spreading outwards, their fleet divides and discovers the distant Hygarth Communications Probe. The probe picks up the chatter of the Terran colony, and the Terrans hail it as the discovery of a new civilization.
-The military recruits young folk at a fair rate, but seems to be in shoddy condition. Some minor accidents in training in flight and the new laser weaponry causes some morale loss.

Hull Classes: Fighters, Corvettes[/i]
-Valentians make their presence known. Their species is humanoid and bipedal, with pale skin and wide maws. Their eyes are large and spaced far apart, but incredibly focused independently. Their two arms are tipped with sharp-nailed fingers. Religious beliefs are varied, and average intelligence is relatively low, with most of the Valentian lower class (the majority) working labor. The society is ruled by the elite 1000 high-intelligence Valentians. Occasional born tall, hyper-intelligent individuals are hailed as elite leaders in military and government. Focus of politics is at the local level, collectively unified under and emperor.
-Stationary defenses are created on the planet’s surface. These defenses are large projectile cannons that allow for round-to-space combat.
-A search for other civilizations begins through space scanning. So far nothing has been discovered.
-The new government is set up, headed by nobles and delegates from all parts of the Commonwealth.

-The Lux are a bipedal humanoid race, typically standing at 5”9 foot tall with a medium build with a skin prone to injury. Lux live photosynthetically, taking nutrients and energy from light. Although many are killed from overexposure to UV rays, and a resource shortage causes widespread discomfort, one-child laws are in effect. Religious beliefs are centered on light and obsession with light.
-The first business of the Lux is the creation of much more effective solar energy generation. They succeed, and immediately implement their ships and Lux Maximus with this new technology. Upon landing at the new colony, they make great advances through this solar collection.
-A new colony is established at the nearest system, a binary system containing 6 small planets. 5 of these planets being the process of being covered with solar collection plants. While expensive, this allows for massive energy intake by the Lux.
-A series of probes are sent out in many directions in hopes of finding another civilization.
-A purge of Darkeneds, Lux who do not follow the traditional religion, commences after several take control of ancient war vehicles. Many Darkeneds go into hiding.

-The First Fleet sets up ground defenses on the base on Dexjura’s moon, called Dexjura’s Eye. Simple for now, but should be effective against potential dangers from the sky.
-The Second Fleet creates a space station at a comfortable range from the empty system’s sun. The station is quite large, and takes a while to build using resources shipped from Hypernia.
-Scouts on Dexjura’s Eye move outward from the base and discover a large structure in the frozen wastes, jutting out from the ground. It is covered in feet of ice, but appears to be made from a black material.
-Other scouts discover isolated hot liquid pools, which are composed primarily of liquid methane. These pools are harvested for use as fuel at the base.
-A tunnel system/mine is started by Hadar workers. Caves are discovered containing solid carbon crystals, but nothing of much use.
-The Hyperkin contact the Hygarth, and plans are made to construct a half-way space station and docking port. It is the size of a small moon and the largest manufactured object known to either civilization.

-The ADC-FTL drives are improved upon significantly, allowing for increased speed and distance. The new versions are capable of being mounted on smaller ships and are much cheaper, allowing for merchants to own drives for trade.
-Battle Group Arryn is sent to a distant system in hopes of studying a detected energy anomaly. Unfortunately, the Group could not come close enough to get significant information, but it was discovered that the anomaly is caused by an apparent fold in Hyperspce and Slipspace, two planes of the Fourth Dimension. The energy leaking from the fold is immense.
- The fleet from Tambor moves off into the direction of the Communications Probe. While not passing it yet, it is expected to reach Hypernia at the same time due to increased speeds.
-The colony on the lava world in Tambor goes smoothly, with Rhauk mining bringing industrial-strength minerals from the planet’s pressurized underground. Extensive mining leads to large numbers of casualties as mine collapses, pressurized explosions, and frequent magma leaks present dangers.
-A space station array is constructed, complete with scanning and comms capabilities.
-An array of long-range scanners is launched towards the galactic core, in an effort to act as an early-warning system for invading civilizations. As of yet, nothing is detected.
-The Comm Array intercepts messages from the Terran Republic. Battle Group Arryn is expected to pass through the same area on its way.
-Contact is made certain with the Hyperkin, and plans are made to construct a half-way space station and docking port. It is the size of a small moon and the largest manufactured object known to either civilization.
-A national celebration is held for the discovery of the Terrans, and the meeting of the Hyperkins.

-The ruling class discovers a way to fulfill their prophecies of the mind-jump, allowing the entire race to temporarily project their minds forward into spacetime and occupy the bodies of dog-creatures from Andromeda. Unfortunately, there is little control over this craft, so the Yith are believed to return within a few years with little ability to use it, if any at all. For now, the entire race is inhabited by the minds of primitive canines from the Andromeda Galaxy and have no useful abilities.
