I don't know what the delaio is. Vosk wrote your turn, I never looked at it, myself.
Hm, maybe it was too long to fit within the character limit? We do have a lot of players, and it might eventually become impossible to label everything that happens with a civilization.
There was minor things like slave collars for slaves and etc.
Could possibly be it, small stuff that clogs up the character limit.

I think it's like 5000 Characters for a post or so. URLs can suck up a majority of it, or exceptionally long turns.

They should do the turns per few posts then.
Post the turns as they get submitted? My god, that's brilliant. And after everyone's posted their turn, it gets compiled into a text document with the overall Galactic Map on a post by Seed or Vosk.

As I explained to StarToad, this wouldn't work.
There wouldn't be turns. A soon as we post one, someone else is going to react and change their turn, and then the original poster would edit their turn. And so on. It would be an unorganized mess. That's why we have turns, not real-time.
Plus, it would ruin, say, surprise attacks and stuff.
It would be a matter of taking two Turns that interact with each other in some way, or holding up somebody's turn if it were a surprise attack or something, and then posting both turns at once.

Yeah no there isn't a character limit. Most of my WiB turns exceeded 10,000 characters.

Someone should just put a visual satellite over the planet and have people watch it at all times. Entire side of the planet would be frozen.
