Power Armor is successfully researched and implemented. It is a bit costly at the moment, but using the Terranium (Terran Alloy of Titanium, Scandium and Nickel) it is effective at preventing most penetration from Plasma, Laser, and Projectile Weaponry. It is fueled by normal H-3, due to fears of Elerium. X-Com Engineers are gleefully excited at seeing it in action, and recieve tips from the Hyperkin Engineers behind it all, for use by X-Com/Terrans, due to thetech sharing treaty. They are also handed samples of current technologies to bolster X-Com's tech, and to find uses in Terran Civillian use. They also recieve Elerium based Fusion Pulse tech, and the Advanced Terran Laser technology, along with sample implants of the Anti-Elerium/Radiation Chips -X-Com/Ancient Aliens/Infestation: 1. The X-Com probe goes silent. The Hyperkin has a few of their ships land. X-Com scientists cannot warn them in time about what was last seen on the Probe's camera: Living Space Fungi. The ships are lost, as the Hyperkin Warchief draws up more plans, he recieves the message from X-Com. The fleet is ordered to move, but ships from the surface begin to fly up. The two fleets engage in battle, with the Hyperkin fleet managing to flee with heavy damage. One of the ships is rammed and left behind. X-Com and the Hyperkin Military are astonished by how skilled these are, for being horribly fleshy and disgusting. -Economics: 1. The search begins for new valuable materials on planets such as Dexjura&#8217;s Eye, Cen&#8217;s Tear, Opitur, and Primia. -Galactic Affairs: 1. The Hyperkin send the ancient tech and other findings from the Jungle Planet to Vanduran scientists in hopes that they can help decode the language along with Hyperkin scientists. -Planetary Affairs: 1. Top Hyperkin scientists begin to attempt to research how to reverse engineer tech from the Jungle Planet, but make no major progress. X-Com extends it's offer to help reverse engineer it, due to their skill at reverse engineering stuff (They've already made their own types of tech based on the Tech handed from the Hyperkin due to the Treaty.) X-Com awaits a response from the Hyperkin on this matter. 2. Focus shifts on further colonizing Cen&#8217;s Tear, making the colony expand into an underwater civilization. It proves to be hazardous, due to the incredible Water Pressure. X-Com also offers a hand to put it's Experimental Underwater Operations Facility there, in hopes of prepping against any future Aquatic threats that may turn up. 3. Colonizing begins on Opitur, making sure not to disrupt the natives, but scouts are sent to study their ways. The Scouts complain of having Rocks and Sticks tossed at them. [B]The United Sol Confederacy:[/B] [IMG]http://i.cubeupload.com/tiYECE.png[/IMG] [B]Technology:[/B][I]Projectile Weapons, Fusion Engines, Advanced Lasers, Advanced Shielding, Hyperspace Drives, Advanced Particle Weapons, Basic Ion-Beam Weaponry[/I] [B]Hull Classes:[/B] Fighters, Corvettes, Frigates -Tech: 1. Sustained Ion Beam Weaponry is engineered. While harmless to flesh (Aside from maybe future cancer/light burns) It can disrupt electronics in ships, and also eats through most shields. The Craft that was tested on ended up having a dead pilot, due to lack of Life Support. It also overheats incredibly fast, and eventually it's own Circuits fuse, causing the Weapon to blow up on itself due to overcharged Energy. It does however offer a variety of technological uses, from being used in Dentistry into being made into Cures for Cancer! They also note that Plasma is slightly generated within the Weapon's chamber, they realize it could potentially be used for making Ion Weaponry that can hurt flesh in a much shorter term. It is dubbed "Plasma" Weaponry, but must be researched further before it can be applied. -Military: 1. Construction of shipyards in Oslo and the Astroid belt continue as expected. 2. The expansion of the Sol Confederacy continues, finding a system or two. 3. Ship making is delayed due to lack of controlled systems. Too many ships and people will feel controlled, so a Galaxy wide effect happens where a new fleet is produced every 3 planets. The Verans somehow are not affected by this, but their fleets fail to be made. -Economic: 1. Colony infrastructure construction continues on Mars, Bragi, Loki, Freyr, and Kvasi, building cities and mining outposts. Colony ships are sent from Earth in an effort to fill the growing Colonies. 2. Mining all mineral resources from the following planets begins: Luna, Mars, Jupiter's Moons, Venus, Mercury, Thor, Odin, Baldr, Eir, Rindr, and Meili's moons 3. Elerium mining on Luna and Meili's Second Moon begins. Enrichment proves hazardous after an Anti-Matter explosion on a Lunar Outpost, and many of the processors complain of headaches, migraines, and more. Some of them are found to have boils and cancerous tissue on their brain. a few of them go postal. The causes are unknown, but they continue to work. 4. Uranium mining and enrichment facilities are made on Loki and Meili's Second and Third Moons. It proves to be much less hazardous then Elerium work. 5. Gas Siphoning platforms in low orbit are made on the following: Tyr, Meili, Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter, and Saturn. 6. Hydrogen and Helium Harvesting Platforms are established on the following: Freyr and Kvasi [B]Vandura:[/B] [B]Technology:[/B][I]Projectile Weapons, Elerium Fusion-Pulse Engines, Reinforced hull armor for ships, HECS, Heat-resistant shielding, Beam weapon shielding, Advanced ADC-FTL Drives, Blink-Point Drives, HECS Stealth Modules, Carbon-Crystal Weapons, Plasma Weapons, Mining Plasma, Power Armor, Basic Elerium/Radiation Shielding[/I] [B]Hull Classes:[/B] Fighters, Corvettes -Tech: 1. Plasma Cannons are adapted into a mining tool. Efficiency and amount of ores produced are exponentially bigger. Efforts into researching Blink Point Drives end in many Vandurans ending up inside out, and many more getting Genderswapped, somehow. The test to improve FTL Drives ends with the craft equipped with the FTL Drive blowing through part of the Docking Station, specifically the Office of the Head Researcher of it. Repairs occur with minimal difficulty, due to it being a clean shave. -Galactic Affairs: 1. There is a huge push from the Vanduran government, VDF and large private companies within Vandura to colonise new worlds. 2. The Unjaktao, Hujunta, Berkantor, Teptar, Teptier, and Carintia systems are claimed and colonised. -Diplomacy: 1. After the huge Vanduran public outcry of X-Com looking into genetic modification of Hygarth is abandoned. Many of the scientists of X-Com state that it was voluntary for the Hygarrn born on the Systems, and say that they were under Terran Laws, not Vanduran Law. Many Hygarrn are pissed at how the other half of their race treated the Terran half, and many are hesitant to even WORK with the Vandurans as a result. Way to go. 2. The restriction Terran access to Vanduran space is removed. Many Terrans are fearful of returning due to continuous Vanduran Crimes against Terrans 3. The Vanduran government thanks the Hyperkin for their supreme candour in settlement discussions. 4. Vanduran scouts in the Terran system report X-Com intercepting an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO), which appeared to be an FTL Probe. The Vandurans can only wonder what it can mean. -Economic: 1. The Vanduran government begins to invest heavily in Manaan after reports of a Gel like substance emitting from Geysers on the Ocean Floor helps in Healing and Recovery. The Cities on Manaan bloom and become the prettiest in all of the galaxy. Vacationing X-Com agents on Manaan conduct an investigation of the mysterious gel substance emitted from geysers on the ocean floor. Findings support that it actively aids in cell regeneration and healing, specifically after an Agent rubbed it on his wounds after getting wounded by a Gang of Hygarth. It is dubbed "Bacta" after an Old Terran word meaning "Life". Mobile Mining Ships are invented. About the size of a Frigate with much less firepower, it uses a Shunt drive to get within 10km of a Small Object, like an Astroid, Meteor, or Dwarf Planet, and procedes to unleash anywhere from 200-500 small Automated Drones, which then pull chunks of it to the craft. If it is too big, it uses a portable Particle Cannon to blast it into smaller chunks. Due to how it's utterly defenseless, it must have fighter escorts when it is standing still to mine. -Military: 1. The FTL Anti-Matter bomb is guided, with help by the Grox, onto the Grox capital. As Xorg goes to examine it personally, it explodes, detonating in a radius of nearly 8000km. A Ton of Fallout is generated, which, combined with the already intense background radiation of the planet, causes much of the planet to become uninhabitable, and many Grox gain Cancer in the Testicles, Anus, Lung, Heart, Stomach, Brain, and Knees. The other FTL Comm detonates in the shipyard, causing many explosions to happen, ripping open a small hole to the Core of the planet, and destroying much of the remaining atmosphere. The Grox homeworld is virtually uninhabitable, and many Grox colonies/outposts note with worry that they haven't had any contact with their homeworld, or Xorg, for that matter. The Verans procede to declare war on the Grox via a FTL Message to the Grox Colonies, causing Hysteria and Panic there, due to the incredibly weakened military force. 2. Contact is made with the Terrans. The X-Com Leader, Roscoe Ulyesses Sirius, is astonished at how advanced it is. An X-Com engineer notes an Anti-Matter leak in the engine, and repairs it, preventing any premature explosions. Live Feed is established. Sirius and the Veran Military Commander discuss the joys of blowing shit up, playing with new tech done by the lab boys, and on how bad Fast food is becoming Galaxy wide. They agree to meet up at the current location of the Probe, which is then stationed at the current location. X-Com builds rudimentary living quarters and storage space there, along with a ship dock. Elite Troops and Technicians are kept stationed there, along with their best equipped craft. Overall, it's a pretty peaceful meeting, and the Terrans are notified of Grox systems and what the Verans did to them, with a reminder on not to get onto their bad side. -Economic: 1. Strip mining of Solusta Hazus and Canopus for every material. Colonization increases on Otura Hazus. Colony ships continue to ferry people from Solusta Hazus to Otura Hazus. If they won't fit they won't go. This causes a slight bit of outcry, but the majority understands that this MUST be done. 2. Siphoning platforms are established over the Gas Giants of Pavelan and Isolus 3. Mining Outposts are established on all planets and moons in Pavelan and Isolus 4. Tiberium is discovered in Isolus, but the scouts turn green, and crystal hard. It even spreads to the Androids as well, it crystalizes entire ships, even. Nontheless Colonies are set up in the system. 5. Colonisation of Jaysus, Jiang, Jios, and the habitable moons of Disaro, Paladine, and Gileryd occurs. 6. St. Patrick's Day is declared a holiday. Many people drink and eat Stew as a result. A Good Day indeed! [B]High Elves:[/B] [IMG]http://i.imgur.com/xV4bx.jpg[/IMG] -Tech: 1. Quantum Computers are invented. Many people note that the speed is capped at 80 Teraquads per minute. Sadly it has yet to reach any real technical use. Zero Point Energy modules are failed to be made, as a High Elf known as "Lordon Slavemer" accidently kills his girlfriend and himself with the prototype, and causes it to blow up the corpses, flinging them into the Galaxy. The Ground to Space Nukes ends up blowing up a Countryside, due to a misfire. Nearby cities are evac'd due to fear of radiation. -Military: 1. A Space Station begins construction over the homeworld. 2. Scouts are sent to the south to find planets. They return with nothing but a Nebula. -Diplomacy: 1. As the Tech is being discussed and data about tech is sent, a sudden burst of static occurs. Contact is lost with the Grox, and the Data Download/Upload failed, corrupting the entire download and upload files. No Tech is shared. 2. No ships are sent along the trade route. The High Elf leader is hesitant to send ships to investigate. Probes are sent out into the stars, in a 8 Way direction. Due to how it's slower then Light, due to lack of a FTL Drive. It may take two years before it reaches the suspected habitable planetary system a few parsecs to the south of the planet. -Military: 1. World that is targeted for colonization is invaded and quickly won from the natives. Of which they were Ape People. 2. Scouts are sent outwards from the Planet and expand outward to find other planets that are also hospitable. A few systems are noted with intrest but nothing so far until colonization efforts occur. -Economy: 1. Resources are taken from the planet to repair ships, make fuel, and build homes. Nothing major really occurs as the economy is just started. Better engines are made. They are Fission Pulse Engines. Putting them on par with the Verans. However... -Military: 1. Read Verans. Population of the Grox are now a fourth of what they were. In addition, their home planet is no longer habitable, and the Grox ships flee from the Yith systems, forgetting to leave a message. All fleets and Grox are brought into the systems closest to the now dead planet that was originally their home. The Slave species? They obtained Grox weaponry and craft, and they begin plotting revenge against their former masters. 2. Many Military people break off and join with the Former Slaves. Some of them Defect to the Verans. A Fleet is lost due to the defections. -Economics: 1. 3D Sound is invented, but cannot be put into use at the celebration of the FTL Probe landing, due to the, you know, bomb. 2. Tech is failed to be traded due to the sudden shutoff of Grox systems. It works via a Lead/Terranium Lined capsule, which, with Inert Elerium, reflects the Radiation emitted by Elerium, increasing the person's resistance by nearly 70%. It's possible to work with small-medium crystals of Elerium without needing protection. Anti-Elerium Lining is made for Suits, and applied to the [URL="http://ufopaedia.org/images/b/bc/PowerSuit.gif"]Power Suit[/URL] (Power Armor), which also has the side effect of being much better then basic lead Radiation Shielding. Cases of Elerium causing Brain Damage drops to almost zero after this. -X-Com: 1. Director Sirius meets at the probe, and gets into a FTL Conferance call with the Veran General. With the coordinantes of the Grox system encoded on his PDA, he prepares an Invasion force of the Grox system. He sends an Email to the Hyperkin Warlord asking if he wants to join in invading the Grox. 2. Otto Reyulant manages to sneak a sample of a Gel from the Vanduran Planet "Manaan", it is found to have incredible healing properties. It is nicknamed "Bacta" after an old Terran word, which stands for "Life" 3. It was found on the stormy planet. -Politics: 1. The Nationalists, pissed off by their low amount of representatives, break off into "The Terran Nationalist's Association" and go out of politics. They become responsible for many attempted terror attacks on Terrans thwarted by X-Com, further sliding them down the bar of respectfulness. The TNA attempt to kill Mr. Owen, but fail, due to reasons below: 2. President Owen, noticing the immense support for Inter-species Marriage, signs the "Intergalactic Love and Tolerance" bill, due to the majority of Terrans and Hygarrns supporting it. He hopes that the Hygarth will come to understand that you cannot control a person's desires at all. Owen's popularity skyrockets through the roof after this bill is signed. He also managed to sneak in Legalization of Gay Marriage, too, which further makes him popular. However, an attempt is made on his life. The Sniper misses with a Heavy Laser, and it ends up accidently killing Mr. Owen's pet Cat. 3. The recently discovered systems are claimed by the republic, and more scouting continues in a triangular format from the two systems that were recently discovered. -Societal: 1. Many people find Hygarrn/Terran Porn to be incredibly fucking hot. Porn Sales skyrocket, as do Piracy rates for Porn. 2. The Artificial Meat is improved upon. Many people complain of it tasting like Terran Flesh. 3. After much pressuring, the Hadar Slave offer is accepted. They're found to be very entertaining for little children, and, ahem, for Adults. Hadar Fetish Porn explodes, as well. They also say Hadar are very good cooks, able to make the Artificial Meat to taste like actual good meat. -Economic: 1. Vacationing X-Com agents on Manaan conduct an investigation of the mysterious gel substance emitted from geysers on the ocean floor. And yes, that was the surprise everyone was told about. The Grox got their asses kicked really good. I also did all of this turn by myself. Seed did not want to do the Terran's turn, because he wanted to play Xbox. So he let me do it. Galactic Map will come later.

The research tech failures are more of a Joke to explain why it failed. I was not biased at all in the workings of this. And if anything, it's how Turn 9 came out, more or less, with some edits needing to be done to get up to what it should be. I apologize for any anger/disappointment/sadness caused over this, but in reality, suck it up and learn from your loss.
