Because honestly, Ven was being an idiot and wanting to guarantee his race's extinction. As a GM I have to give advice to help people to avoid that. (Though it doesn't mean he has to take it, for all I know he could be suicidal enough to want to try that.) I mean, who the hell is dumb enough to fight with a race that controls Space and Time without doing any research to counteract it?

The Grox's influences are well in line with the tech available to the rest of the players and will not be wiping anything out of existence. All it does is make use of gravity wells for weaponry and shielding. It's not far out there whatsoever.
I understand everyone's frustration, and I'll be taking care of the issues.
Are you guys actually justifying all this tech based on science or is this just a bunch of sci-fi jargon thrown out?
Mixture of both i'd say, as long as it's within reason and you can actually make it.
For example i found some crystals while making a cave base on some planet, now i have Needler weapons

I think it's alright, and too late to turn back now anyway, he lost almost everything trying to get it.

There WILL be a map out sometimes within the next 3 hours, I'm sorry for the delay. Friday turns are bad for me, because they don't get posted until later, and Friday is the one night where I'm both busy and need to get to bed early-ish for my class that runs until noon the next morning, pushing any work that needs to be done back to the afternoon at best.
Once I get chores taken care of, I'll work on the map.

Otherwise, I don't think so.
Is it sentient? Is it the space fungi shit? Hell, it must evolve very fast right? Well, why not dump a bunch of uranium on it, hope it evolves to take uranium as an energy source, then shoot them in such a way to cause the uranium in their blood-stream to go fusion-mode and hope it creates a chain large enough to destroy the whole thing?
Well you also have to consider there's 13-16 systems full of the stuff so I'm going to need a lot of uranium, but I'll will to any suggestions
