Colonization can not be done currently, but the following was discovered: *Two small systems, holding only one planet apiece. One lava world and a gas giant. Both holding some uranium. *2 barren planets, 3 gas giants, and 4 moons with various metals. *One empty system *2 uranium-rich systems with a combined 3 barren planets. Also 1 garden world with a waterworld moon. *A system containing only 1 ice giant and an outer rocky planets. This system has 2 stars, but one is a hypergiant about to hypernova soon. -All the new systems are outfitted with defensive measures. -2 new fleets are produced. For the sake of usefulness, they’re outside the home system, with the hidden relocation base. -Speaking of which, unrest breaks out on the relocation vessel, causing some problems and riots. The ship is forced to land in another nearby system, but because the only planets are barren the ship is converted as a temporary colony. -300 refugees are executed or imprisoned for dissidence or violence against colony authorities. -The Psyke gang is completely wiped out between bombardment by the Republican fleet and attacks by the neighboring Diablos. -Psiclone, the implant drug thing, is eradicated in the military. This causes a good chunk of soldiers to go into withdrawal issues, temporarily weakening the Republican navy. More rigorous training is implemented to deal with this. -The Grox Second fleet arrive on the outskirts of Terran space to enforce a blockade. Terran craft are given orders to avoid them. -A Terran and a Grox cargo ship collide. Both races scour all documents they can salvage, discovering the tech of each other. -A ship of 16 Hyperkin citizens is shot in Terran space. The Terran shoot-to-kill order is still in effect, but it scaled back to just the homeworld after the incident, and giving warnings beforehand. -Orision is heavily damaged over the remains of the ExoNet, but their land holdings are still there and holding strong. -Nationalists make a combined front against the Loyalists, taking a large chunk of land. Fleets: 4[/i] -Ionic engines are invented. They create thrust by accelerating ions through a central tubular structure. Ionic engines are improved in speed and efficiency. -Mining increases on all colonies, especially on the moons of Jhosa-Rim. -The alliance with the Terrans has been cut as the civilization assumes that the Terran Republic is no more. -The victory on Opitur is met with mass celebration. Nationalism increases and Ren is made General by the Warchief. Opitur’s colonization continues to go uninterrupted. -Breakthroughs are made on deciphering the alien technology from Prima. Nothing much to go on for now, other than some data processing technology. The language is partially deciphered. The ancient race was very verbose, but it is discovered that the Things wiped out the civilization 10k years ago. The Things are a collective hivemind, with units that can work independently. They work on a cellular level, converting organic material into Thing cells, which can replicate any known organic cells. The more biomass the collective has, the greater amount of Things can be produced. -A ship of 16 Hyperkin citizens is shot in Terran space. -An incident on the Spacedock: A Thing is discovered by a standard visitor scanning procedure. The creature, imitating a Vanduran coming home from a vacation in Hypernia, was discovered when a checkpoint guard accidentally scratched it. The creature revealed itself by splitting one arm into a mass of tentacles and turning its torso into a toothed mouth. It killed 8 at the checkpoint and 4 guards before being shot dead with plasma weapons. The entire floor was quarantined for 3 months until the situation could be figured out. The Vanduran citizen did not visit Quell Station, which is unusually quiet. Still, the incident creates a small panic. -The second fleet discovers two new systems: *2 barren worlds, containing iron and some uranium *1 ice giant with 8 notable moons. Cavorite is discovered in the northernmost system. -The worlds around Que As Ada are colonized. -The Second Fleet enters Terran space to blockade the system. Two supply ships from either side collide, and both races do what they can to salvage all documents, revealing tech capabilities. This allows for greater amounts of trade. Although this causes notable environmental damage, being cited as the cause of distress by many, it bring in good loot. -Media continues to reinforce the importance of artists and scholars. -Polygamy is accepted for its utilitarian values. This brings in a very, very large yield, but 1/3 of the planets are depleted quickly. -Tiberium harvesters begin work on the couple Tiberium worlds in Veran space. Tiberium is harvested en mass and smelted to its base minerals, bringing in an additional yield of resources. Additionally, unsmelted Tiberium begins testing. In only a years’ time, the visible surface of a tested world in Shaara is crystallized. Basic tests show that it is possible to weaponise Tiberium. -12 new systems are claimed. 6 are colonized. *The northeastern 3 are copper rich. 2 barren worlds each, plus 2 lava world. *The 3 closest south of them are all iron rich. The one in that group farthest west is uranium rich, and the one in the middle contains some uranium. *The northern 2 also contain decent amounts of uranium in the combined moons of 3 ice giants. *The system stationing Fleet 4 is uranium rich- 2 iceworld and a garden world. *The 3 southernmost ones are all iron rich. All 3 contain a habitable world, plus various planets. -A nebula is claimed. Primarily hydrogen. No noticeable effects. -A large gravity well is discovered in the far northeast. Not quite a black hole, it’s tearing apart a large star into a stream of flaming Hydrogen.
