Oh and I just like giving you dumb ratings.
Self confessed troll, oh boy! Hey Eternal did you know rating spam is a bannable offence? Ask Sobotnik. He'll know.
Well, that's a bummer, can't you squeeze in this last turn at least?
Well, that's a bummer, can't you squeeze in this last turn at least?
Maybe. I just found out I actually have Six point 5 whole days with nothing but one paper to write, so count on a turn sometime tomorrow.

Thermal Shock weaponry is created, basically freezing shit. -Using the cryogenic bombs, the fleet bombards from LEO, freezing entire cities. The technology is still new, so this causes many casualties to civilians, but it is rather successful against enemies. -Loyalists make an offensive push into Nationalist territory, freezing supplies as they advance, creating a resource shortage by the nationalists, who manage to push them back. Loyalist losses number in 200k, while nationalist losses are around 150k. -Intense fighting occurs in space and air, using the recovered Grox technology. -“Spartan Rule goes into effect. Nightly buttsex is a requirement now. With men on men only. (Women can be on Women with strapons, tho.)” -Alpha Milenia, the new system containing a waterworld and a garden world, are both investigated. A floating X-Com base is made on the waterworld. -The soon-to-hypernova system is called Omega, and is avoided. Tests so far have been unsuccessful in determining the date of explosion. -Construction begins in the empty system of an X-Com space station. -The Terran Colony ship relocates from the empty system back to Terra- against suggestion as fighting is still occurring. During the return trip, the ship is hit with a nuclear weapon, causing extensive damage to an engine. A large battle breaks out, causing the Terran fleets to split between battles at home and in space. In the void of space, the battle with the Hyperkin First Fleet goes negatively. Even though doubly reinforced, the Hyperkin fleet caught them by surprise. -During this time, the Nationalist fleet takes advantage of the confusion by attacking the Grox fleet blockading, but the single Grox fleet is caught by surprise when the First and Fourth Vanduran fleets also attack from its opposite side. The Grox fleet calls upon help from the Terrans, as it is outgunned, but the Terrans are unable to send immediate aid due to being tied up in two battles. The Grox fleet take heavy losses, even with its superior fire power, the Vanduran weaponry fucks it up. The Vandurans begin a retreat, while the nationalists continue the battle, losing. It is sold to the Terrans, but is unable to yet be applied. -Trade increases. Protitution is legalized. -A probe is sent to Aranos. It has not yet arrived. -Cultists are sent to the Elves’ system as workers. They do their duty fine. - The Terran Nationalist fleet takes advantage of the confusion in the Terran military by attacking the Grox fleet blockading the Terrans, but the single Grox fleet is caught by surprise when the First and Fourth Vanduran fleets also attack from its opposite side. Using it, the Aranos are capable of discovering distant civilizations and researching systems from afar. -1 new system is claimed: A water world and a Mars-like planet. Both have fissile materials. -Mining decreases on the Island, and increases in other systems. -A broadcast for trade partnerships is sent out. -A city is built on a moon, luxurious and attractive. A raffle is created to send citizens to it for vacation. -A probe is sent out in a southwestern direction. -A mysterious creature is seen in an Aranos city. Almost 14 feet tall, thin, and bipedal, almost human-like, with small black eyes and brown, hard skin. It appears in the middle of the night, from who knows where, and screams, running through the city, climbing over structures and through homes, until cornered by law enforcement. It disappears suddenly, leaving a strange light-warping effect where it once stood. The effect ends after about two days. No one was hurt in the event. Fleets: 9 -Liquid Tiberium. -You can’t research gravity manipulation. You require Cavorite for that. -12 new systems are claimed. One soon-to-be-supernova. Also… 2 new fleets. -Planet cracking of planets held up until this turn is completed. -Shielded Tiberium-smelting factories are built on the few Tiberium planets themselves. A dangerous, but fruitful, endeavor. -The few non-habitable planets not being mined are seeded with Tiberium. The crystal spreads quickly, and is harvested when crystallization is mostly complete. This provides a fair amount of minerals and resources. Antimatter was successfully and cheaply synthesized in a usable amount in Sol labs. -Five new systems. Can’t be arsed to name them. Notable: Elerium in the farther east two. -Excavation begins on Mars. A large metallic surface is found in Cydonia, but it impenetrable. It appears to be several miles large. During excavation, a UFO briefly flies overhead. Two hours later, a second appears and bombs the research team, killing 3. By the time forces respond, the craft is nowhere to be found. -All systems are given hyperspace gates. -Mining continues. -Colonization continues. Technology: Projectile Weapons, Fusion Engines Hull Classes: Fighters, Corvettes Resources: 100 Stability: 100 Market: 100 Colonies: 0 Fleets: 1 -The Sithil are silicon-based crystalline sapiens who evolved on the mineral-rich world of Sildaren, located in the Eastern galaxy. More. -An improved machine-Sithil interface is created that allows for better connection between exoskeletons and machines and their Sithil operators. -Using natural minerals, without making any special accommodations, orbital stations are created in Sildarin. -World probes are sent north to discover mineral-rich worlds. These systems are marked on the map, but not claimed. -“Learn not to get utterly horrified or disgusted at the mere sight of squishy organics, brush up on etiquette and learn not to be insulted or disturbed once their vibrating or radiation-emitting things start screaming or uttering gibberish at us.” This text is perfect enough. No need t summarize. -A big-ass dome is created with atmosphere breathable by most organics in the galaxy. Notable galactic events: -A Thing colony is discovered in a thought-to-be-abandoned mining camp in Jhosa-Rim of the Hyperkin systems. This sparks immediate concern, and the colony is destroyed form orbit. There was no known connection between Jhosa-Rim and any place known to have hosted a Thing. -Over 400 missing in Vanduran and Hyperkin systems. -The Yith perfect the art of short-range mind teleportation. -The Valentians claim three new systems. Have more info? Have changed info? Anything you want added? PM me with it or post it here and I'll add it to the Race Guide.
Also I totally figured I'd kill two birds with one stone (Organizing this shit so you can find it, and my Graphic Design project). From henceforth, any and all inf on GaW can also be found here: http://detectivep.tripod.com I just threw this together in ten seconds, so, like, yea.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/DzPPh.jpg[/t] What the fuck, Seed? :v:
I dont like the surprise, i dont like it at all...
Overpain you should export the Cavorite to me instead. I need it for things.
Yay! I made a big-ass dome!
Overpain you should export the Cavorite to me instead. I need it for things.
Yea sure bb maybe you want unobtainium too? :v:
No. So I can make Planet Crackers. Seed told me I needed Cavorite to research gravity tethers so I could embed them in planets and pull gigantic chunks out
Neat. Well done, too bad cavorite is only on my territory/upper galaxy.
lol no it isn't.
Startoad is out of this game
Good.
Map ETA, boss?
Map please
Tuesday, May First. After today we can begin a normal, more frequent turn schedule. I don't have a set work schedule and have plenty of time off, and today's my last day of class. So basically, I'll have plenty of time for the game now.
Is Tuesday, May 1st going to be map or next turn
Is Tuesday, May 1st going to be map or next turn
Map. You can't expect turns when you don't send your turns in. And I understand that's because I don't get the maps out. Turn should be the first day everyone has their in, excluding Saturday.
[t]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/38678023/GaWturn14png.png[/t]
Turn tonight if everyone has turns in (Ven, Urban, and overpain)
Never noticed how massive Ven and Wizard's empires are, there's gonna be a lot of catching up to do.
I'll get mine in tonight and bug Urban about it.
It will be tomorrow since Overpain didn't get his in.
Fuck overpain :v:
Sorry people, i wont send my turn, i dont have time to get to the pc in a long time, exams. I give full control of my race to eternal or someone new who wants to play this game, period.
Yay me. Ofcourse a new guy could work, but he could ruin it. I'll let them live on your legacy.
Uh how about no. I think in a game like this with a race as 'powerful' as the Grox, there should be no 'I give my shit away' shit. Let it become an NPC and/or rot. No gifting.
Ok then , it should become npc , cause i really don't have timer because of the exams, sorry if i caused inconvienence to someone.
Sorry, you need to Log In to post a reply to this thread.
