For anyone interested in joining, this is always a good base species if you're stumped on what they should look like.
;35953226']Well, if we can get Sunny, Ven, Urban and Eternal's turns in, we can have a turn today or tomorrow.
So are we getting a turn today? :D
As of the moment: no.
You lied to me!
"Send your shit in so I can do a turn tonight"
No-one commented on the description I took 3 solid hours to write (not to mention two hours thinking up) ;__;
Of which only 3 lines will be used.
But are we getting a turn today?
Yes, absolutely.
Tha tbeing said, Webby and JGCX whatever, I need your first turns in within an hour or you'll have to wait till next turn.

-The first Terran MAC cannons are created and mounted in friendly territory. These cannons are easily produced and provide strong anti-ship deterrence.
-X-Com agents attempt to take control of the Vanduran fifth fleet in its retreat, and manage to lock themselves in the bridge while hoards of angry Vandurans surround both the ship and the trapped Terrans. Luckily, they have the admiral hostage, preventing the Vandurans from making a move, yet. The Vandurans make an announcement that they are willing to end the war if the Terrans release the hostages. The Terrans respond with their own demands: The Terrans take control of the fleet, are to be left alone and not contacted by either Hyperkin or Vandurans, and are to receive the Thing vaccine. The Vandurans refuse, and the standoff continues.

-The blackout has caused the total loss of all Hyperkin colonies in Thing space. The response is brutal and fast: massive bombardment of the planets, wiping the surfaces clean and glassing the entire place. Two systems are cleansed this year. There’s little to no resistance from the ground. Things are going smoothly.
-A total market collapse occurs, though, from fear and from inability to safely travel. Hyperkin space is still crawling with small personal or trade ships that are infected. The farthest colonies are more or less cut off from supplies.
-Weapons are handed out to the civilian population to anyone who isn’t infected. This is a brilliant idea at first. The Thing attacks throughout the system are quickly quelled, but it goes overboard and many innocent uninfecteds are killed by overzealous vigilantes. A mass extermination of Opitur fishmen slaves occurs, and some take advantage of the situation to form small rebellions and political paramilitary groups.
-Crime increases heavily, robberies and such. The farther colonies attempt a complete rebellion.
-Hextura and the First Fleet are killed or taken as POWs in the Terran offensive and in the Battle of Atleria.

-The Robit AI is now applied to the creation of hornet robits. Their stingers are outfitted with acid and tranquilizers. Buzz buzz bitch.
-LADARing the region to the west of Squidville, we find three systems. But we don’t go to them because we instead choose to expand to the east. The two newly claimed systems are both pretty un-notable as far as resources go, but both contain some possibly habitable planets.
-You keep saying invest in biomechanical engineering labs, but that’s not doing anything for you that I can write here.
-Contact with the squids are made. They find that Aranos’ exoskeleton exterior to be fascinating, as they have never encountered anything except squishy, flabbly squid-parts. “Vienen con armadura!” the Squids project with their minds. “Son guerreros, que nos puede proteger!” The Squids welcome the Aranos, accepting a tech and trade agreement and proposing a protective alliance, whereby the Aranos and their vastly superior technology and defenses protect the Squid from what they call “Los Forasteros”…” Los extranjeros, los que residen en todas partes y en ninguna parte.” The alliance is accepted.
-The Squids inform you that this area of space holds small amounts of what they call “El Fluido de Todo”, a legendary material that holds unnatural properties. So far they have been unable to use it for anything, but experiments have occurred.
-A joint parade is held in both species’ homeworlds to commemorate the discovery of the Squids and the Aranos and the mutual alliance forged. Immigration and tourism begins at a slow pace, but the species find themselves easy to get along with and welcome each other fully.
-The home system colony is completed.

-Gravity Impeller Generators are created. These devices generate power using strong gravity forces. They orbit around large centers of gravity and prove to be very cost effective.
-A single system is discovered, with nothing of note besides some comets containing cavorite.
-All fleets are equipped with carriers, named after the planets that were cracked to make them. This is a costly endeavor, but it’s made to happen.
-You’re out of planets to crack. You can’t fit any more shield bases on your Tiberium planets. Quit requesting these.

-Anti-Ion Beam Weaponry is created. So like, it fires particles that intercept the particles in Ion Beam Weapons, causing the beam to be phased out.
-All defensive platforms are upgraded to the latest and greatest weaponry.
-Reserve ship building commences. All reserve ships are placed into militias to combat the aliums.
-Mars is already fucked to hell and back.
-There is no further alien attack. For now?
-The Martian base is an ancient but advanced creation. It held millions of cryogenically frozen aliens for who knows how long? What you do with this knowledge and this tech is up to you.

Hull Classes: Fighters, Corvettes
Resources: 100
Stability: 100
Market: 100
Colonies: 0
Fleets: 1
-Sonic weaponry is invented. In atmosphere, it’s indirect and highly effective, but weaker, direct versions are created for use in a vacuum.
-“ Begin investment into radiological "dirty" bombs that could actually harm a Sithil. When you know a creature normally immune to long-term exposure to intense radiation is harmed by a bomb that produces it, you know that shit's dank.” Too perfect to modify.
-Sorry, comrade, but you can’t construct fleets on a whim.
-Mining colonies begin a large-scale overhaul, with the construction of small cities beginning. This initially expensive endeavor generates increased revenue from trade and mining. Many Sithil make their way to the newly built-up colonies.
-“Continue making sweet, sweet love to our planets. Drill baby, drill!” You’re on a roll.
-Okay, so, like, they find big asteroids. And they slam huge-ass mining nukes into them, splitting them into other asteroids. Then they ram them into fucking planets to collect the loot they spew out. This is like the complete opposite method of mining as the Verans.
-Probes are sent out in every direction.
-“Fill our populace with the idea that we are the true inheritors of the Galaxy, for we are the only ones with true industrial potential, proficiency in mining, and our beauteous crystalline bodies.” It is done.
The Teth Union

-Ultrahard materials are created from Boron-based compounds. These provide increased ship protection as well as a variety of other uses.
-Military training commences in two-handed close-quarters fighting, including with swords, as well as boarding and capture techniques.
-A solar-cell and asteroid-mining based resource economy is the primary method of resource gathering.
-http://dl.dropbox.com/u/28132359/Teth.txt –Everything you want to know about the Teth.
Notable galactic events:
-All NPC races, excluding Vandurans and Grox, increase in technology this turn and most gain new systems.

Iunno, it’s wubstep. Live with it.
NEXT TURN IS TURN 18.
Alright. I'll admit, that was a fucking badass battle. Shame we lack an animator to do battles like these, eh?
It was supposed to be the same, [seed eater].
I'm not a dipshit. Same stuff still applied, and really had nothing new to think of doing...
I'll think of something creative next turn then.

Haha bitch please. Everyone knows I am the inheritor of the Galaxy.
Quick, Tiberium Man! To the Planet Cracking Fleet! SPACE LOCUST AWAYYYY
What good is tiberium against a swarm of acid-injecting super hornet bots? I'd guerrilla fight the shit out of your troops

We could always split the galaxy clear down the middle, I think there's enough to go around.
What good is tiberium against a swarm of acid-injecting super hornet bots? I'd guerrilla fight the shit out of your troops
I'm actually curious to see how one of your hornets would fare against a Sithil in an armored exoskeleton. The acid would probably work fine against the exoskeleton, but I'm not sure how it'd react to the Sithil's body itself (although by that point the hornet would've won the fight, since an exposed Sithil is pretty much defenseless, immobile and unable to fight back effectively.)
What good is tiberium against a swarm of acid-injecting super hornet bots? I'd guerrilla fight the shit out of your troops
Tiberium turns ALL material into more tiberium.
Out of curiosity, why is the Teth not on the technological rankings?
They're likely on there because they have all starter tech and only one real technology. Kick up your research a bit, you should catch up relatively fast.
Alrighty. :D
Another way to get up would be to get into Tech trade with other races, but that requires alliances and such (Unless you hack into their systems/take over a Freighter of their craft.)
Going to try and get these by next turn:
Another way to get up would be to get into Tech trade with other races, but that requires alliances and such (Unless you hack into their systems/take over a Freighter of their craft.)
Nah, Teth are nowhere near any other species and their FTL isn't brilliant. They're alone... For now.
Ah, i see ven is sending some tiberium missiles my way
Is it okay if i do a little surprise?
The Grox are an NPC. Fuck off.
Also they aren't tiberium missiles.
*planet crackers
Also I'm thinking about getting back, at least for one turn. I can do that I think
You quit. You forfeited your civilization. If you want back in I think you should have to start over.
Especially if you're going to join for one turn just to try and shit on something I'm doing regardless of whether or not you know what it is.
