Just an FYI, I'm not in the player list, but asantos and his space niggers are.
As star said, don't try to get in the war for now as now it is big races skirmish.
Haha, of course. I'm all for preparation, but while we can fight, we aren't bellicose.
Personally i'm all for intergalactic peace. I wont hesitate to fuck over those who fuck with my race, though. Passive Aggressiveness is a nice trait to have.
that isn't what passive aggressiveness is, mate.
I'm passive most of the time. If a Race fucks with my race, I get aggressive. It's the Terran idea of Passive Aggressiveness.
the Terrans got it wrong.
It's a better policy then being Warmongering or overly hippy.
Being passive aggressive is being aggressive with your passiveness.
I.E. the "Cold Shoulder" treatment is Passive-Aggressive.
What you're describing is a Passive civilization with a collective anger management problem
Blame it on three invasions, likely to go on four if i'm correct in your Military planning (Which is likely that you're going to do an invasion on me).
They're ships but they're not an invasion. It's a reservist force I'm sending to help set up a perimeter against The Thing.
I don't want that shit in my space, and I'd rather head it off outside of yours than outside of mine.
I have a plan to deal with it. I need time and Peace to pull it off, though. I can contain it in Hyperkin/Vanduran systems if they dont declare peace with me, but I have a plan to cleanse (What little there is) those that are in my systems. In short, give me Time. I need to get my plan executed.
Oh, so I ask for help earlier to contain this shit before it spreads, but now that it's gone completely out of control you feel now would be a good time to step in? Thanks man
You didnt respond to anything I sent you. I did contigency measures to stop it from getting into my systems, by way of intercepting ships until I could successfully tech the tech to kill it. I even warned you that an invasion of my systems would backfire, and look where THAT went.
I was talking to Ven, and all your ideas were either cancelled by Seed or just how to better protect YOUR systems
Oh. In either case, my point still stands. And I was working on a way to stop it. The Invasion halted all progress on it.

I'm helping you too. Calm down.
Once the reservist forces set up a perimeter they're going to start pushing into your systems to fight the Thing back.
I'm hoping my new Tiberium weapons will help. I don't think it can adapt to that shit.
I've got a project in the works to reverse the Thing, Anti-Thing Cells. While it cant recover the person lost (Seed confirmed it to be impossible) You could effectively gas planets and kill The Thing while leaving Innocents unharmed.
So what is The Thing exactly? Haven't really been in the game long enough to have first hand experience.

Uh... no.
The Thing has been confirmed to be similar to a mix of Necromorphs from Dead Space and The Flood from Halo
Seed said they were more closely related to the Movie/book one. How else would it disguise?
It's a mix of a whole bunch of shit. IIRC the Flood could disguise/lay dormant inside people in the book series.
They never did it in the games, though (It would've made a cool mechanic otherwise). But the thing that screams to me the most about The Thing is that it's, well, The Thing from the book/movie series, due to how it can shapeshift and gain knowledge of shit.
The books were Canon, though, so it still counts.
They didnt disguise in the games, but still, this is GaW, not Halo. Basically, it boils down into;
1) Stop the invasion of the Terran system invasions,
2) Let me do the research of the Anti-Thing cells, i've made some slight headway in it.
If both can happen, The Thing will be over and out within 2-4 turns.
It's not an invasion it's a reservist force that's going to set up a perimeter between you and Sunny then move in and help stop it.
Well, it was directed to Sunny and Wizard (If he even reads this any more, ha). Besides that, I dont think we need a Reservist Force. The plan should work if Peace can be achieved.
I'm going off the original Thing from Who Goes There? which is pretty much identical to the one from the film. Originally I was heavily considering going with the flood or the necros, but I decided against it.
Every time I think about the squid guys I think about that golden 8-bit squid with the googly eyes someone has an avatar. Wonder what the outsiders are going to be.
