This fits the battle; Also; 6:31 PM - Chinese Fishmonger: So in summary 6:31 PM - Chinese Fishmonger: 1) There should not be 6 terran fleets, only 4 6:31 PM - Chinese Fishmonger: 2) The Grox should have at most been able to get 1 fleet to the battle site, not 3 6:31 PM - Chinese Fishmonger: 3) The Elves MAYBE could have gotten their one fleet there but they're about the same distance as the other two Grox fleets 6:31 PM - Chinese Fishmonger: Which would have made the battle at most 15v6 Cry some more, Ven. You lost. Admit it.
Excuse me. Count your systems StarTard You have 12. 12 systems. You can support 4 fleets. Not six. Also: The Grox in Vandura are MUCH farther away than 2 turns of travel. They're at the halfway point between Grox and Terra, and it took them 3-4 turns to get to where they are now. You won because of a screw up. I will not admit to defeat in those terms.
They were from his home systems. You simply cant accept that your "All Powerful and Mighty" Military got it's ass kicked by a handful of X-Com craft and a hundred or so Starfighters. I got the skill and tech that can beat you. You launching the Tiberium Warheads were also a blessing to me, and will end up being your downfall. To say the least, this war is already wrapped up. Why dont you surrender now?
That's even fucking stupider and only proves my point more. How the FUCK did he get them from his home systems to you in two turns? Complete horse shit. Also you really are fucking retarded and full of yourself. You lost ships too and I still outnumber the fuck out of you. I can also now throw fucking ASTEROIDS. [editline]31st May 2012[/editline] Also some good info: DetectiveP (Best Germany): 1) What is the strenght of a Terran fleet DetectiveP (Best Germany): last I checked, 1.2 DetectiveP (Best Germany): 2) What is the strength of a Grox fleet DetectiveP (Best Germany): last I checked. 1.5 DetectiveP (Best Germany): 3) What is the strength of an Elf fleet DetectiveP (Best Germany): last I checked, 1 DetectiveP (Best Germany): 4) What is the strength of a Veran fleet DetectiveP (Best Germany): last I checked, 1.5 DetectiveP (Best Germany): 5) What is the strength of a Veran defense platform DetectiveP (Best Germany): I'd gander them around .5 to .8 Your Combined Strength: 12.7 My Combined Strength: ~17.5 The fact that I lost was a monumental pile of bullshit due to GM Fiat, bullshit magical space drives, and bullshit magical guns. [editline]31st May 2012[/editline] DetectiveP (Best Germany): Thre Grox should take around 3 turns to get there if they go through Vanduran space DetectiveP (Best Germany): adding on fighting the Vandurans and capturing ont he way DetectiveP (Best Germany): bumpt that to 5
Can we take this to steam? It's faster and easier on Steam.
No I'm not discussing anything with you on Steam. This is between me and Firefox with Seed acting as a voice of reason in this insanity. All YOU do is shove your ill begotten victory in my face like some kind of insane egomaniac.
Do you sincerely think we're still on Seed's rules? New GM, new Rules. Dont like it? Your problem.
E99 is Chronoton, btw, Firefox. We called it E99 before I gave it a name. In concerns with the debate between Firefox and Ven, Fox is in the right with the gravity bending, excect that the gravity bending is no longer all that powerful comparitively. A Grox fleet is equal in strength to a Veran fleet by my estimates. The way I see it, the MAC cannon thing is acceptable. I kind of want to agree with Ven that MAC cannons wouldn't deal much to shielding, but they would fuck up a hull right good. Plasma doesn't do shit to shielding, but again would fuck up a hull. (PS, the way I did beam weapons was thus: Lasers were effective against inanimate stuff, ion beams against organics, and both are rather crap to the opposite. Plasma is not a beam weapon and in general I don't believe it would be effective against shielding, imo.) To be blunt: Ven is right, imo, on all issues excluding the ones I mentioned. That is: he should have won, the Grox should be slowed, the Elves should have been slowed, and the Terrans should not have those excess fleets. [editline]31st May 2012[/editline] Additionally, Yith's tech should read: Technology: Projectile Weapons, Magnetic Accelerator Cannons, Reactive Ground Shields, Advanced Shields, Massive Mind-Jumps, Consciousness Projection, Basic Holograms, Basic Lasers, Aether Engines, Basic Time Bending Hull Classes: Fighters, Corvettes, Transport Ships
Do you sincerely think we're still on Seed's rules? New GM, new Rules. Dont like it? Your problem.
Actually it isn't my problem it's yours and Firefox's. Having a new GM does not mean the rules change. That's NEVER been the case. Seed took over from Vosk, didn't change any rules. Countless GM's have taken over in E&R never have the rules changed. The only reason things are changing under Firefox is because you and him are buddy buddy and you're whispering your insane and stupid words into his ears.
Ven, if anything, i'd say you and Seed were buddy buddy because Tiberium really only occurs in your systems, and in abysmally high amounts. It was also the second best material aside from Chronoton (Because Chronoton is bloody Time control, but that's a different argument for a later day.) If you don't like it, you may as well quit now.
1) Actually it doesn't just no one else found any. I've seen parts of how he does the resource map there are 'bands' of resources across the galaxy. Tiberium is rare. Not my fault. You could say the same about you since so far only you and Sol have Elerium and Sol only has it on Mars and the Moon because lore wise that's where it is. 2) Abysmally high amounts? No. I found TWO tiberium planets. That's how rare it is. From then I researched tech to SEED tiberium to other planets. That's how I have so much. You drop a shitload of it on another planet and it takes over. I PLAN to quit if Firefox doesn't stop acting like a biased prick and do shit fairly. But not in any way YOU'LL like. You won't have a single one of my systems and will probably lose this corner of the galaxy if I quit.
Based on simple number crunching as posted previously, Ven should've won that engagement unless you and others came up with some good tactics to defeat his fleets, StarToad. [editline]31st May 2012[/editline] Hell, if you want it to result with no clear winner, have it a costly Ven victory where further engagements in the sector would result in unacceptable losses.
There's really no 'clever tactics' to get out of that. The Grox fleets shouldn't have gotten there on time especially if they came from the home system. It would have been 4v15 or 6v15. Not counting the hundreds of thousands of tiberium missiles which would have been shooting through his fleets.
Alright, I've realized I fucked up. I'm sorry. If you all think I should resign from gm, then I will.
I don't think you should resign I just think you should try not to be biased towards StarToad just because he's your friend. And also do better as GM but those two go hand in hand.
Too late to join? I want to make the mighty bear empire of Ursusarctos
We already had a Bear Empire. It lasted all of one turn.
Yea, we have a bear empire.
Woops, sorry for the radio silence, I had no idea we were about to have a turn! D:
Snip
;36152340']Yea, we have a bear empire.
Literal Bears?
Yes they are literally sentient bears.
With suits though
Eta of map?
Here I come! A race of sentient Golden Retrievers called the Wooftopians. Times seven billion.
Eta of next turn? I was used to them being once a week.
There better not be a next turn until he fixes the last one.
It's good. Don't get me started cause i don't want to insult anyone.
Actually I think I am going to resign. Not because of the last turn, but due to a few personal things going on.
Aw damn it. There goes this forum game.
