So long as we all discuss things out, we could probably ensure things have some sense of order. I mean Telepathi and I seem to have our things going pretty smoothly.
By the way Telepathi...
- Military Alliance
- Organized Trade Guilds between the Republic and Kingdom
- Establishment of Phoenix-Dakotan Passenger/Freight Trains
Sound good?
Sure, I'm going to give Sobotnik a friend request.
Oh, if you guys want to contact me about this RP, don't be afraid to send me a friend request.
Sure. You need to get your outlaws in order, though. I'm going to have to attach soldiers to guard caravans now because you've got people trying to attack them.
So far I only have a signature from the USA and I guess the KRP.

I need one more signature

I'll establish some outposts along the trade-routes, hopefully we can keep these outlaws in order.

I did not sign for the neutral zone. I do not care about the neutral zone. Please stop saying I signed.

Signed. <3
Signed. <3
Alright your "signature" has been added
By the way Darkrei9n you cant remove the signature if you already signed it.
[editline]13th April 2014[/editline]
Oh wait no I'm going to do a referendum for the tribes of New York and if they say yes they will count as three
My signature was on condition. If you count my signature I will assume you accepted my conditions.
Alright, I talked with Sobotnik about it. I'm probably going to be a lot more heavy-handed next turn, but I'm not going to change the other turns. They already seem pretty plausible.
Okay guys, I'm available for the next four days. You guys should start working on your turns now. Turns will be processed on Sunday like before, but I'm going to change my approach a bit and take them as actions instead of successes.
Just a heads up though, you guys should start consolidating your control over big cities (>1,000,000 population). Rural areas are fine, but if you just have a few hundred troops in a city with 10,000 times that, then those opportunists might come up and try to get rid of your dominance in the region.
I found some flags a Redditor made and put them into 250x150 for you guys if you want to be a theocratic society:

Alright, turn 3 is postponed until next Sunday. I've only gotten three people's input so I don't have enough information to work with. I might consider ejecting people due to inactivity.
Oh sorry I think I forgot to send my turn.
I'll get it in by monday
Had a hard time finding the thread which is odd.
So how many people are we waiting on, Malos?

Right now? Three.
Also, bookmark this page. The thread doesn't actually disappear, but it gets bumped into oblivion by more active threads in this section.

By the way, if Satansick doesn't contact me on why he hasn't been posting turns, I'm going to assume he's inactive.
Yeah I'm not playing anymore, sorry!
It's alright. I feel you, it's pretty time-consuming.

TURN 3 (AF 12):
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/7p7baAf.png[/thumb]
BREAKING NEWS: The Monarchist States of Philadelphia have collapsed after the assassination of King Albert I.
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Fa24nG6.png[/thumb]
United Dakotan Republic
-A military and trade agreement alliance with the Kingdom of the Rising Phoenix has been formed, therefore increasing the strength and wealth of both countries.
-The Dakotan government is slowly establishing control over new territory in South Dakota via the town of Lead.
-Linton is suffering from the continued strife of two rebel groups, the Holy Crusaders of Christ and the Linton Underground.
-A law requiring mandatory planting of trees and bushes in order to improve farming quality has passed to much debate. Many critics state that the trees would not help farming operations and would damage more arable soil than it would save. The law has still to prove itself in practice.
-The United Dakotan Guard were sent to quell a religious riot in Linton, and other elements of the Guard have been sent to Long Lake to deal with operation bases of the Holy Crusaders of Christ. The riots in Linton have decreased drastically as a result of the deployment of the UDG, and HCC bases are being dismantled one by one with relative efficiency.
-The military and trade agreement signed by the UDR and the KRP state that it is now legal to sell semi-auto paper-cartridge carbines to each other. This provides needed revenue as well providing the KRP with weaponry, strengthening their military strength.
-The Dakotan Armory has begun to collect rimfire cartridges in order to find out how to recreate them for .22 LR weapons. Very crude versions have been made using handmade gunpowder and brass that had been hammered into place. However, the threads that connect to the bullet and the shell have yet to be perfected, causing many weapons to explode in the hands of the user.
-The UDR is attempting to research better fertilization to improve crop yields. So far, manure has been used for this purpose, and will be continue to be used for as long as it takes the UDR to perfect a chemical fertilizer.

Kingdom of the Rising Phoenix
-The military and trade agreement signed by the UDR and KRP has been ratified, and it is officially active from both sides.
-A doctrine establishing a conscription-based military as well as laws that deal with veterans was drafted by the KRP, and is now being put into effect. Unfortunately, this has stirred up great controversy in the populace, with many teenagers going against the conscription by either hiding or shooting soldiers who attempt to conscript them. The incentive of a home with 5 acres of land has attracted quite a lot of volunteers, however. There have also been an increase in the average years of service for one soldier since the doctrine has been put into practice.
-Those who are 16 and in an apprenticeship or trade-craft are entirely exempt from these doctrines.
-The KRP have established a public school system and a university system without many problems. The benefits have yet to prove themselves until a few years from now, but it is predicted that the amount of people in trade-crafts will go up quickly after those people graduate.
-Rebels have risen up in Chicago due to the high population and lack of efficient control there.
-Due to the recent attack on KRP trade caravans by the Linton Underground, armed escorts begin to follow the trade caravans to the UDR. This has significantly reduced the amount of trade caravan deaths, but large attacks by the LU are very damaging to trade between the UDR and KRP.
-An attempt as musket research has led to a blunderbuss-type weapon being invented, which successfully uses the matchlock mechanism. This weapon, while experimental, works very well and promises to change the table of warfare across North America.
-The matchlock has also been scaled up to make crude cannons. However, cannonballs use a very large amount of resources, and cannons are expensive to make, so they have not seen widespread use on the battlefield.

The United States of America
The USA has sent a messenger to the monarchy with terms of surrender. The messenger was shot in the head and buried in a shallow ditch due to the massive infighting caused by the MSP's collapse.
-Vast swaths of the MSP's countryside are invaded by the USA after the destruction of the MSP, and firm control has been established in that area.
-A new initiative to build new weapons of war is under way, where anyone with manufacturing experience can apply. No new vehicles have been made and progress is slow.
-Military engineers have been given access to the Smithsonian in order to retrofit simple vehicles and bring them back to working order. Especially prevalent is the need to create spark plugs to fit into WWII-era planes in order to establish an air force.
-Army Engineers begin constructing fortifications around D.C. and the beltway in case of invasion, while concrete bunkers and barbed wire are slowly being erected.
-Schematics from WWII have made it only easier for retrofitting to take place, with orders from the top brass to equip active planes with more modern weaponry. This research reached its apex when the Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-6 in the Smithsonian rose out of the air and flew once fuelled and on a runway.
-A bartering system of sorts is set up in the USA, with domestic equipment being given away for precious materials such as gold and silicon.
-The government begins a war bond service in order to pay for the military, which is rather successful due to the general support the US armed forces have in their borders. -A ration system has been put into place, but the patriotic masses are not bothered by the now-Spartan lifestyle they live if it is for the greater good. Supplies gained by rationing are very helpful to the war effort.
-The Government initiates a program used to build spark plugs for their older vehicles, but even though the spark plugs are active, much of the wiring is destroyed as well. Time taken from the initiative in the Smithsonian has been detrimental to the remedy of this issue.
-The government takes any nuclear engineers in the area and sends them to Calvert Nuclear Power Plant in order to begin repairs, which have been going smoothly.
-Troops begin repairing oil refineries in American Virginia, although the lack of oil they have proves to be a great hassle.
WAR PLANS:
-Plans were to bring working vehicles to the front lines, but the amount of working vehicles in the USA are very low. The ones that do work, however, really help in combat.
-Bridges are booby-trapped in preparation for an invasion by the MSP, which did not happen. Civilian casualties caused by the booby-trapping of these bridges have brought back the ferry industry.
-Troops are to begin moving up against coalition forces and into Philadelphia, which led to the Philly Massacre after King Albert I was assassinated and Philadelphia separated into several smaller states vying for power. This demoralized the people who were at the battle greatly, and instances of PTSD have risen up in the days following the attack.
-A detachment of Marines were ordered to flank the NR, but stopped short of the New York Neutral Zone which was created via illegal means.
-The assassin that killed King Albert I was captured by rebel forces, and confessed that he was with the CIA. Anti-USA sentiments have rose rapidly once the news had been delivered, and as such the tribes in the NY Metro Area that are stationed in Pennsylvania refuse to be a part of the newly-annexed Pennsylvanian countryside.
[thumb]http://i.imgur.com/2iuJH2s.png[/thumb]
Novanglian Republic
-The NR has betrayed the USA, allying with the late MSP and causing widespread anger by both the armed forces and the populace. As a result, Connecticut has entirely cut off communication with the NR.
-A referendum was put into place, but the ballots could not be set up in the NY Metro Area due to the massive amounts of casualties caused by various tribes shooting at diplomats and soldiers. However, northern New York was willing to sign, and the NY Neutral Area was born. Some criticism about the means of which they got it has been spreading around in the international community.
-A citizen watch program has been initiated by the NR government to watch for the notorious serial killer "Red Death".
Military: Use cavalry and whatever equipment we have, fire teargas upon remnant forces, send out all troops we can muster to relieve the MSP troops.
-Due to the low value of the resources used in creation of the Jonathan, they have become economically useless in the international community. De facto, trade is mostly via bartering.
-The Novanglian Republic continues its research on tritium batteries, but has stagnated for most of the year due to the low energy output tritium has during decay. Many top scientists have walked out on the project, each of them repeatedly calling the element too weak for use in a battery.
-An influx of former MSP loyalists, including top scientists, has provided a boon for research in the NR.
WAR PLANS:
-Calvary are to be used by NR troops in order to break through enemy lines, although their assault has been vastly diminished due to the recent events that have unfolded.
-Tear gas is used on US forces, thus making the NR the first country after the flare to break the Geneva Convention.
-Every single troop the NR has is deployed into former Pennsylvanian territory, with many of them dying before they even get there. Once they get there, US forces now at the border of the NY Neutral Zone shoot them as they come across, bringing the attack to a complete halt.

Republic of Laurentia
-No significant changes have occurred in RL policies, although the country's control of Detroit has become increasingly tenuous.

The Tsardom of Alaska
-Many people in the Tsardom of Alaska are sick of the conservatism in the government and want change, but even with the protests of the people, Alaska continues to be at status quo.
Alright, I fixed the turn up a little. If I'm missing any important details, please tell me.
