I myself have no issue with the fact that you attacked us. We managed to defend rather well (by hiding in a shack) and built up a sizable force to fight you off in a battle that never happened.

Last map, there was factions like Yugoslavia, Midland, or Sand People to protect the smaller factions. The dedicated few usually create a faction that rules the world at the beginning of the game. Over different time zones and cycles of players, more large factions spring up independent of each other. These help restore peace among factions because there are so many larger factions. Any time a faction is a jerk to another, they have the wrath of a couple other factions to deal with. Just give it time instead of whining. Maybe setup your own alliance of white-knights?

i'm considering following the similar ideal of earthcraft, hosting it myself and providing a lag-free and no-abuse experience for the people agree for yes, disagree for no, winner for you would play there also i'd love donations (you know, if you people would give me $5 to support it :V) rules would be mostly common sense and I have boatloads of experience running servers and moderating them, not to mention that i'm not an idiot, and by common sense I mean nobody is going to get past saying "well it isnt in the RULES" if they build 1x1 cobble pillars

I've been following this thread and have finally decided to start playing. I don't really want to start my own faction so is any faction willing to accept me? I haven't played Minecraft for a while so I am still getting used to this potion stuff. Anyways, for any factions, I am a good worker for mining/farming/logging.

Whether or not building castles over giant, ugly walls is prudent or not is questionable, but you can't blame new players (like myself) for not knowing what to do or wanting to approach it differently? This thread is titled "Earthcraft: Build and compete with other factions on the planet Earth", not "Buildcraft: Half-ass a wall and proceed to kick the shit out of everyone and wreck buildings, period" for a reason, so I'm not sure why you expect people to "use their brains" and jump into the thing with that one thing in mind. Grow up.

Factions come and go, but the molemen are eternal.

Imagine, if you will, an alternate universe in which you decided not to wreck everyone else's shit like a kid attacking a sandcastle on the beach. You might have enlisted the help of other factions. You might have expanded your fighting force from the 4 people in your faction to a good dozen people across multiple factions to raid any damn thing you wanted. But you didn't. When the server is back up, your faction will almost certainly see retaliation on a shocking scale, bringing your cobbled-together base into the dust. Where will this retaliation come from? Every-time a faction has risen to power through force in this server turds has found some stupid reason to ban them. Nobody is coming back to turds server this much I know since we are all on sks's server. If you want revenge you know where we are.

We literally had a chest full of spawn eggs of all kinds in our base, as well as animals pens for sheep, cows, chickens, and pigs, as well as a large farming complex. 5-6 stacks of wheat, an entire chest dedicated to mushroom soup, etc. So much food.
