[t]http://i.cubeupload.com/o2c5Hj.png[/t] [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/D9EGwQ.png[/t] I made this based upon Archer's color boxes. This will be useful for non-Facepunch users that ever find that Polandball album.
I've got an idea. If any of you want to, we could do some battles in Rome Total War. Based on your performance against each other I could let the military part influence the turn.
thats unfair for those who don't own the game :'c
Even if we don't do it, you should probably get it anyways. Rome: TW is a great game. The sequel looks even more amazing and is absolutely jaw-dropping.
thats unfair for those who don't own the game :'c
I was floating it as an idea for people who already had it. (Or had a good internet connection and a computer capable of running it).
We could just draw battle maps. You could also pulls up some things like stats of a country to effect how battles and things can play out. It would also help if a list of everyone's technologies was put up somewhere.

Any games that people have which they wanna play?
I wouldn't recommend that the fighting should be based on different video games, as players are better than others at certain strategy games.

I can only think of Total war atm tbh. [editline]17th August 2013[/editline] Also Crossu I was anticipating that you would pick more technologies in your turn.
How about a nice game of chess
I vote on nothing since I suck at strategy :D this is why i hire generals for my bidding
I'd say it's impossible to find a game that simulates all the variables we have going on (Like terrain, Commander's competence, troop morale, Unit composition and technology) without finding a very good game and modding the hell out of it. Edit: The Original Rome: Total War appears pretty moddable, but unless we have people able to 3d model, skin, code and get it all working in-game, the battle's gonna be pretty inaccurate. Also there's the problem of getting everyone to buy the thing and get it running on their computer. And then there's timezones.
We could make small maps in Civ V editor, put some units and maybe cities there and duke it out.
I was really just thinking of an unmodded game in which to do a battle like Rome TW or something. I thought everybody has that game. It's a classic. It's cheap on the steam store, and there's other ways of getting it for considerably less as well...

Even still I don't want the battles in CoC to come down to my ability to play Rome: Total War. I'm pretty terrible at Total War games because I lack the ability to cohesively move units.
I can skin and code Rome, and the existing models should fill the purpose.
That's possible. But from what I've seen of it, the armies are rather restrictive - I can't bring along a force of really weak Phoenician Infantry and strong Seher'Seher.
I was just saying we could play it for fun pretty much lol. It wasn't meant to be something very serious or too impacting on the rp.
Finally done with this. [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/zNJPQg.png[/t]

I'm a modder, in the sense. I can make the armies literally anything. Hell, if I could find a suitable model I could make my esteemed polar bear army. Also, I'd probably just give you a recolored Carthage faction because you guys would share the same units anyways. Phoenicia did found Carthage, after all.

Or some Incan-like dudes for Crossu. Or zebra cavalry.
