Honestly, if you start an internet game that requires a lot of writing and critical thinking, and time to manage, you need to be prepared to maintain the thread. Several people in the thread "fucked it up" but that doesn't make the thread any more difficult to manage, it just makes the outcome shittier.

The people pressured him simply by asking him when the next turn was repeatedly. I've felt that pressure before, you haven't. Don't act like you have and definitely don't act like there's no added pressure in a situation such as this when the entire game balances on a single turn.

I play these sorts of political RP games all over the internet, and I've run several in the past. You're entirely wrong about everything you just said in that post, but I'm not going to resort to name calling.

Simply by asking about the turn repeatedly, you're very much pressured in these games. We've seen these things swing from life to death in a mere turn over GMs and GMs are under alot of stress with them. Is there an inherent responsibility with these games? Yes. Should people expect that responsibility and pressure? Yes. but that doesn't mean that everyone does and can take it. I couldn't, I dropped out of the game I GM'ed because of the time, mental, and environmental stresses from it. We all know how it is, no need to deny it. Now, let's just wait for a new GM to come along. I was going to start a new one up soon, but if need be I will consider GMing if absolutely necessary.
