I joined LOTF to mine in a cave i spawned in after in nethered for a while, but even after that I wasn't able to destroy or place blocks in a cave, there was a diamond :saddowns:, and i think i saw moss stone.
So the day before yesterday I dug down a straight hole and I found diamonds. I set my home there because I wanted to go get an iron pickaxe. I succeeded in getting the diamond and proceeded to pillar my way back up leaving a pocket of air deep underground. I made it out with the diamond and went around doing my business. :buddy:
I died today. Someone please get on the server so I can teleport to you. :saddowns:

So what are the towns people have built? I want to establish some trade routes.
edit: Yes, I could look them up on the map, but exact coords are more helpful for getting roads set up.
The server will be down until sometime tomorrow afternoon due to a (supposedly) recommended Bukkit build that broke EVERYTHING. Even updating the plugins to their new versions does nothing. I think I need to backup stuff, do a complete clean and just put in the SQLite databases, configs, and such back in manually.
I'm really sorry but I don't have time to fix it tonight and I'd rather not have people complaining about a broken server.
I just need some rest. I promise this will be fixed tomorrow though.
I've been working on this all evening and it makes it 10x worse now that Minecraft is updated.
Thus causing Bukkit to be needing an update AGAIN.
Gonna be down till tomorrow it seems because none of my plugins where working at all.

Never mind. I just downgraded to a Bukkit build that is compatible with 1.3 AND 1.4 connections. It seems to be the only build that support 1.4 that doesn't break my plugins at the moment.
There will be no wolfs or anything like that until the plugins devs update their plugins so I can stop using this modified build.
So I put the server back up. I am sorry about all of this.

Not sure if anyone cares about me anymore but now all I'm getting are internal server errors.
I've pretty much fixed everything that threw up a flag in the logs. But I believe I need to do a complete clean backing up the whitelist, factions, LWC database, homes etc. along the way.
I can honestly say that Notch updating Minecraft has been hell for me the past couple days.
Thank you if you manage to find your way back onto my server tomorrow. I know I'm a really amateur admin but I'll learn sooner or later how to work efficiently so you guys don't give up... :unsmith:

It's all good. EVERY TIME that notch updates, EVERY server breaks. It usually takes about a week for everything to be fixed. I can wait a bit longer.
