I'm doing my best to get Mr. Face to allow us to play as lesser, neutral countries.
I'm trying to play as an insane, newly appointed Swedish General named Noah Allmendinger. He instantly instates military rule and declares war on Thailand for an apparent "feud" that was unbeknownst to everybody else.
He also commands the construction of a Doom-fortress near Geneva, because, why not?
You cannot control an entire nation yet. After World War II is finished I'm opening up all nations for use Empires & Revolutions style. For the time being you need to be a general from a relevant nation.

The Darkest Hour: Winter 1939/1940

Summary of Winter 1939/1940
- British prepare for gas bombs: Poison gas had been a frightful weapon used by both sides, to devastating effect, during World War I. Given this history, and the advancements in airpower during the interwar years, Britain feared that Germany might drop gas bombs from the air. By 1940 the British government issued 38 million gas masks to civilians.
-The Russo-Finnish War: By the terms of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of 1939, Finland was assigned to the Soviet sphere of influence. That October, Stalin demanded that the Finns cede to him the Karelian Isthmus (north of Leningrad) and the city of Hango (at the mouth of the Baltic). Thought offered Soviet territory in Karelia in return, Finland refused. Stalin then disavowed the Soviet-Finnish nonaggression treaty and planned to incorporate Finland into the USSR by force. He established a Communist government for Finland but abandoned it when Finnish resistance made its establishment in Helskinki too difficult.
The Red Army's initial performance was courageous but inept. Soviets outnumbered Finns four to one at the front, but the fieldworks and bunkers of the Mannerheim Line (named after Marshal Mannerheim, the Finnish commander) proved too strong. The Finns submerged political and social divisions for the national good. As many as 125,000 Soviet troops were killed in four months of fighting, which revealed deficiencies in training, equipment, supplies, tactics, and a leadership decimated by Stalin's purges. The Finnish army was ill-equipped, but its men were well trained and highly motivated, and its snipers and ski troops inflicted heavy casualties.
The arrival of Marshal Timoshenko, 27 new divisions, and armored support enabled the Soviets to breach the Mannerheim Line on February 11, 1940. Not long after, the Finns accepted the Soviet peace offer, which was formalized in the Peace of Moscow on March 12. Finland had to surrender the territory demanded in October 1939, although it was allowed to keep its independence and most of the Finnish territory in the north occupied by the Red Army during hostilities.
For its aggression in this "Winter War", the USSR was expelled from the League of Nations. Klinebt Voroshilov, Stalin's old crony, was dismissed as defense commissar for his complacency and incompetence in the campaign. Timoshenko, his replacement, introduced urgently needed reforms. In Finland, bitterness at the Peace of Moscow contributed to the nation's decistion to join Germany's Operation Barbossa in 1941.
-Canada commits to the war effort: Originally, Canada supported appeasement of the Nazi regime. However, soon after Germany invaded Poland, the Canadian Parliament approved entry into the war. Canadabegan sending troops to Britain in December 1939, ahtough those men did not see action for several years. Starting with a small military, Canada raised substantial armed forces and had one of the world's largest militaries by war's end.

Germany: Nothing much occurs, the German Polish sector is fully occupied and is now under German law.

December 13-17: The Royal Navy engages the Graf Spee, a German warship, off the coast of Uruguay. After a protracted battle, the Graf Spee captain scuttles the ship near Montevideo.
I]
January: As many as 70 Jews succumb to starvation and other ills each day in the Warsaw Ghetto.

January 4: Hitler hands control of all German means of war material production to his trusted aide, Hermann Goring.

January 8: General Franz-Walther Lindner orders the mass murder of 80 Jews by firing squad. He personally kills one with his Luger.
January 9: Richard Hildebrandt, the SS chief of Danzig and West Prussia, tells SS Reichsfuhrer Heinrich Himmler that he had instructed his troops to execute more than 4,000 mentally ill Polish citizens.
January 10: A German officer crashes his plane in Belgium, and proceeds to intentionally ignite a set of war plans in full view of the Allied soldiers. The salvaged, and partially charred papers reveal Hitler's plan for a January 14 invasion of Holland and Belgium.
January 24: Reinhard Heydrich, the chief of the Nazi Gestapo, is charged with overseeing the evacuation of all Jews from the Reich.
February 3: For the first time since the First World War, a German plane is shot down over England.
February 10: The occupying Nazis in Czechoslovakia place restraints on Jewish owned businesses. They prohibit Jews from selling art, jewelry, and precious metals, and force the closure of Jewish-owned textile and leather shops.

General Kurt Daluege - 4th German Army (Liem)
-Nothing happens. If I do not receive a turn next time I will no longer post about the 4th German Army.
General Franz-Walther Lindner - 2nd German Army (MountainWatcher)
-Like the sick fuck he is, Lindner forces Polish Jews to fist fuck eachother in the sphincter with cloth tentacles covering their arms. He takes pictures of these events and sends them to Admiral Nyagato Isamu-kun.
-A personal guard is nominated. Their uniform comprises of the regular issue uniform with a patch depicting an event of rape or torture that the guardsman may have committed.
-Josef Mengele is befriended, may many happy torturous events occur out of this atrociously tasteless friendship.

General Reiner Engbrecht - SS Heavy Panzer Battalion 101 (Griffster 26)
-Born in 1897 in Munich to two rather rich Jewish parents, Reiner joined a prestigious private school and received top-class education there. He then went on to serve in WW1 as an artilleryman, earning the Iron Cross as a result. He supported Hitler's ideals throughout Hitler's rise to power, even going as far as to murder his parents and inherit their money in the name of the German "super-race". He then joined the Waffen-SS as a tank gunner and quickly rose through the ranks during the Spanish Civil War. Josef Dietrich personally made him the commander of Battalion 101.
-Panzer Battalion 101 is currently located on the Belgian border.

Soviet Union - The Soviet Union's successful invasion of eastern Poland emboldened Stalin to attack Finland on November 30, 1939, beginning what was called the Winter War. But Stalin's purges of his officers and poor training had left his army largely ineffective. Moreover, Finland's out-numbered army fought back with surprising ferocity. Ill-equipped but innovative Finnish fighters invent the "Molotov cocktail" during this war, Molotov cocktails are glass jars filled with flammable fluid.
January 2: The Soviet army launches a major offensive against Finland on the Karelian Isthmus.
January 8: In a dramatic turnaround, Finnish forces annihilate the Russian army's 44th Division.

January 10: The Soviet 7th Army launches an attack similar to that of the German Blitzkrieg but due to lack of unit cohesion the attack fails and the 7th army is repelled. Losses amount to 300 men killed or wounded in the 7th Army.
February 4: The Soviets attack Finland from the sky, killing 14 in the capital city of Helsinki.
February 11: Some 140,000 Soviet troops attack Finnish defenses on the Karelian Isthmus, this attack is spearheaded by the 7th Army, which provides the initial breakthrough after another blitzkrieg attempt.
General Leonid Yefim - 7th Soviet Guards Army (Sunny Dei)
-An attempt to breakthrough Finnish lines is made early January but is repelled, repeated attempts are made until the eventual breakthrough on February 11. Troops are now just about 20 miles east of Helsinki.
France - Bolstering efforts begin along the French border but nothing occurs along the Belgian border as the French don't expect any kind of attack through Belgium.

February 29: Food and gas rationing begin in France.
General Daniel Theriault - 7th French Army (Stethor)
-The soldiers of the 7th Army are drilled especially hard in preparation for a German invasion.
-A request is sent through that French lines be bolstered through conscription, finally the French HQ listens and strengthens French defenses.
-A request is sent through that an entirely new division be created comprising of mainly armor. This is denied.
-A suggestion is made that f orces be kept around the Belgian border, this is thought of as ludicrous.
-A request is sent to Britain that they send over more troops. Britain declines.
-A diary is begun.
-Daniel begins learning English a bit better, he now can communicate with British generals far better.
General Jacques Adrien - 27th Elite Mechanized French Infantry (SporeGA)
-Nothing happens. If I do not receive a turn before I post the next turn the 27th Elite Mech will no longer be included in the turns.

Japan - Nothing happens, what else is new?
January: China mines the Yangtze and Whangpoo rivers in a moderately successful effort to impede shipping by the occupying Japanese forces.
Admiral Nyagato Isamu-kun - 2nd Naval Fleet (Dr. Insy)
-The fleet is rebased at Hiroshima. The crews of the ships are given a week off in the middle of January to be with their families.
-A new business is opened that sells tentacle porn, many artists are hired for this job. Almost all exports go the Germany.
-Orders are requested from HQ. HQ responds with the fact that there is literally nothing to do that won't provoke the United States, something that Japan wishes to hold off on for now.
General Lindner is given free copies of all tentacle porn magazines. All of them are hand signed with "xoxo Isamu-kun". Is anybody else getting a secretly gay lover vibe here?
I encourage you all to invite others to join this game, it will open up opportunities for players to battle other players.

Dear god, we don't have long...
The British land in France to support the forces there on a "military training exercise" and to secretly prevent a German invasion. (most of their assets are special-force esque due to the small number- 8,000 in all).

You have to send in a turn with a background of your general and which army he commands. You cannot be a major commander at this point in the game. You only control one army, not the entire nation.
Also, you have to PM the turn.
