At the beginning there really won't be much detail.
Basically for an intro turn I want a bio and what kind of general you are.
From then I you focus on the management of your army (or armies if you rise to that position). When you engage in battles at key towns I'll get a screen cap of that town and send it to you. You set up your men in the way you want and how they'll move and whatnot. You also send in requests for resupply and reinforcements. You can coordinate with other generals to gain an edge.

Also forgive me for making that first terrible map. I don't exactly know what I was checking but that is the most inaccurate map of WW2 I have ever seen.
