Turn 1: Kuduro Infestation
December 2012 - June 2013
The world has seemed to swing into two different directions, increasing the gap every day. Some countries begin to crack down on their citizens and allies, strictly enforcing laws. Other countries begin a Liberal movement that is praised by many. Gay marriage and Marijuana legalization are some of the most major policy changes around the globe. It seems like everyone is going their own way, whether it be bad or good.
[img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/1m.png[/img_thumb]
Would you like music with that turn?

Headlines

Nearly a billion people are out of power, and it's estimated that over three quarters of a million people have been killed by the floods. There are still millions missing.

Nearly 20 men were killed in the action of it. Outraged Turkish nationalists demanded a declaration of war upon Syria. Turkey has considered all of it's options, but is yet to come to a decision on the situation.
-A massive rise of the music and dance know as Kuduro has affected the USA. Some people call it "Gangnam Style 2.0" and happily dance along, while some people are angered that the culture would take to such an unprofessional type of art.
-Palestine attempts to cut out land to call it's own. Israel begins to launch invasions into the area and a deadly fight begins. Fear of nuclear weapons being used by Israel emerges.
Flags will not be included in this turn. Please send me flags to use for this upcoming turn. 300 x 175, please.
Poland - HeavyGuy
-The Polish military is told that at some point in the future they will be one of the finest militaries in the world. While drawing skeptics, this statement has strengthened morale throughout Poland. Some men even hold parties to celebrate to their good fortunes.
-Any form of homosexual discrimination is banned from Poland. This causes a political uproar from about 15% of the country. Most people agree with the bans. One man decides to take action, attempting to stop a parade for gay pride by pulling a pistol and shooting at the people he assumes are homosexual. Groups of people launch themselves onto the man, knocking his gun away. 6 are wounded, and 1 man is killed. Gays demand stricter laws to stop similar things from happening.
-A carpet is stained with coffee. A weird sense of Deja Vu encompasses the nation and everyone tries to figure out why. Research by internet junkies is yet to show anything.
-Poland takes steps towards gaining diplomatic ties with it's neighbors. Ukraine begins to ask for shared technological resources.
-Officials worry that Poland is currently vulnerable to attack, and so the military begins to work on designs for a new type of tank that would revolutionize the way battles are fought. Work begins on the tank, and it is expected to be completed by March 2014.
The United States of America - Burgervich
-All the American troops in Afghanistan and the Middle East are sent home hastily. President Obama declares that the war on terrorism are absolutely hopeless, as we will never be able to defeat the Taliban. Many conservatives are pissed at this, demanding a return to Afghanistan, and insulting the president for being "weak".
-A psychotic politician requests that the USA should invade Kuwait for oil. He is quickly removed from the public eye.
-Gay marriage is legalized in a majority of states, with the few exceptions being Texas and Oklahoma, who still say that homosexuality is a plague. Despite pleas from the gays, America has taken no action to change the ideals of Oklahoma or Texas.

-Crackdowns on corruption are prime targets of the US government. Many politicans step down from office, leaving seats open for those who want them.
-People begin to ask for online voting surveys that are usable to take on a wider variety of issues.
-Mr. Obama says lobbyism is a no-no.

Worldwide panic begins to set in, as people blame the assassinations on the Triads. Some countries begin to cut diplomatic ties with China, in fear of being sucked into the issues that China's government faces. After extra funding to the anti-corruption movement China begins to clear up the issue, at least for the moment.
-Transportation infrastructure is vastly improved, lessening the issues of constant traffic jams in major cities. Subways are upgraded especially, with thousands of new tunnels being added into the system.
-The Chinese economy takes a massive hit as many American jobs begin to transition across the pond. Millions of Chinese are unemployed and the sanitation in the slums become horrific. Hundreds of thousands die due to starvation. Millions suffer from disease.
Angola - MountainWatcher

This group demands government payments or input into the economic decisions of the country. Angola's military is yet to deal with the threat.

After being shared on the New York Times it begins to go national. A snowball effect occurs and people begin to donate to the cause. A video of the Togo Football team bus begins to surface on the web, launching quickly from blog to blog. Millions of Americans demand for the arrest of Rodrigues Mingas who is believed to be in France. The rise of Mais Forte adds even more to the issues of Angola's security. Americans quickly arrive with supplies and help for the people of Angola.
-The Angolan style of music known as Kuduro is a major hit in America. Some Americans who arrive with supplies take the time to celebrate the culture, with major love for Kuduro.
-Diamond mines and oil fields are nationalized. This pushes away the smuggling that has occured recently. The economy begins to rise, and nationalism is at an all-time high.

Russia - Zillamaster55

Wikileaks puts up information about the hit, exposing money transitioned from Putin to a man known as Dimitri Rilizowski, a man known for committing murders for political leaders. Ukraine, Belarus, Finland, and Mongolia all demand information on the issue, claiming that it must be shared with the world.
-With the election coming up, Putin looks to be put back in power. However, the information of transactions becoming public has opened the door for many peaceful government leaders to run for the job.
-Attempts to ally with Mongolia fail, as Mongolia demands information on the death of Adriano Valishanko before they trust the Russians in an alliance.
-Bulgaria has begun to import the AK12 rifle design from Russia, sending large payments in return.

Work with what you have, manage your resources well. I'm going to be very harsh, so you might wanna work your country to the best of your ability. Either way, the turn you sent me had a sexy as fuck design. A+ for best dressed.)
Germany - Mr.Face
-Ships are sent to the coast of Syria to see what the reaction from the government will be. A few shots have been launched at the German ships, but they have ceased.
