Gamemode idea:
Death room trivia:
Rules: the prisoners are evenly teamed into death rooms, they are asked trivia once per room, a different question per room.
After 3 strikes of missing the whoal room is killed.
Alternate:
every question failed a random person dies, when the last person is left in the room they get to choose how they die or get a question to move rooms, if they fail the question they get to die how the CT's please.
Last 2 rooms:
When the last 2 rooms are left a over time goes into effect, these questions have no penalty, if you miss the question the other room gets to asnwer it, there are 6 questions alternating between rooms meaning 3 for one room and 3 for another. Whoever has the most points at the end survives, one person in the other room dies, this goes until there are only 2 people left, after that one question is asked, whoever gets it picks the other persons last request, from there they are killed in the same way.
Bonus: there is no way to rebel because they are all in death rooms.

Death room trivia sounds cool, I might stick a room in for that. Also i will be adding logic for automatically opening the doors, just to stop CTs being asshats.
Also don't put random weapons in very public places. I had to block out the kitchen in Alcatraz because there was a TMP there.

yeah that is a recurring error in all JB maps, it drives me insane. I have a good idea for more logic though, weapons will rarely spawn in the same place, or at all if this works.

Write a logic to make it so the vents and shit are random, like they are mapped in but at round start there is a roll the dice where say vent from cell A works or not and vent from cell C works or not, it keeps the people from easily knowing where to go, bonus if you do it for every cell but allow maybe 2 cells max to have it work, and have a few areas per cell if you could.
However, this may cause lag but I have no idea.

That is exactly what I was hoping to do, logic_case should come in use there, it would only add a couple of spikes during the initial loading of the map each round,nothing major and hopefully easy to do, problem is I've got all my cells done now, and adding in vents and crap will take time :frown:

It doesn't magically make the map fuck up, but it does set a bad precedent if you use it when it's easier just to make some more brushes.

If you are carving a block into a block it makes sense to use it, anything with more than four sides being carved is just bound to get an error somewhere though.
Is it a good idea to put the pool in the same area as armory?
And my map isn't going to have ANY guns just lying about, I can't stand maps like that. There will be sneaky ways into armory but maybe they'll change every new round, or something...

Less obvious escape routes when t's try to stray off, it's really hard to do it because of the radar already.
Like that vent in the floor that takes 400 knifes to break and it is in the middle of a room covered with ct's, yea not working out.
can we install a plug-in to remove the radar?
It makes it too damn easy for ct's to find those t's who are trying to be sneaky or hide, and the death counter makes it lame too, because people go: OH HEI DAT GUI KILL DAT GUI CUZ DEATH COUNTER I GO SHOOT HIM! LUL!
and it looking like a slightly normal jail would be nice.

And that death counter always works for the ct's who didn't even see you shoot a guy as a reason to kill you.
Now that I think about it, is there anyway to remove the radar for everyone? I think it would make the game a lot more fun/balanced
