Well, for one can you make it so the water will stop entering the bottom of the ship when it's not damaged? And make it so you don't go through the ship. Well, I'm not sure how LUA works, but at least try to fix those.
Muskets as default and a few more pistol rounds, maybe 2/3 in reserve.

I'm not the mapper but I don't get this in my tests. If I get a modeller it'll be fixed, along with the lag.

This is actually already in pirate ship wars, just never told anyone about it. Make a file called mapcycle.txt

Also good news, the ships never come to a complete halt anymore so no more ships stop and game halts forever. Instead they actually go by the masts. The boat has a speed of 28 at the start, for every mast you destroy the speed is decreased by 10. So you'll have 8 speed if they destroy both masts. I might change this for balance/feedback later. I'm going to release a nightly build tonight and go to sleep. Over all I'm a lot happier with the game

Not happening on my side I assume it just fixed itself. Also I changed the F2 thing to just switch you to the other team and do a silent kill. The other way was indirect and made a say command pop up

also musket is only getting 1 bullet I already fixed it but I don't want to reupload.
Also, the melee It seems very awkward. It's like your arm is swinging 10 times at 60 miles per hour yet you hit them once. I'm not sure how to explain this, but I guess you could make the melee combat slower, kinda like in age of chivalry.

Or atleast make it so when you hear a flesh hit sound you actually HIT them. Makes me angry how many times I "think" I hit them, when they still have full health.
Blah fraps is being a bitch, last time I could record at a smooth 30 fps and now on pw037 I get stuck around 10-8 fps.
And an patch suggestion, What about making cannonballs able to resume their flight after hitting wood instead of bouncing off, I had the thing that my own cannonball bounces of the enemy ship and hits my own.

Yes, It would be awesome if boats had more parts and cannonballs would go straight through them instead of breaking one chunk and bouncing off.

Can't really do that, the water's where it's at, if the boat goes below the water level it's going to show it.
Would it be possible to make the water within 10ish meters of the boats not hurt you?

Yeah, melee combat is awkward.
I realize it's a programmer's nightmare, but could you attempt to prevent "water surfing"? People bouncing on the surface of the water to board the other ship when water is supposed to hurt players, preventing such behavior.
Boarding's fine once the ships get close enough, but people coming from across the map is ridiculous.
Hey I found out someone has made a new pirate ship, I haven't seen it in game but I'm gonna try adding it to the maps and perhaps we can have a new ship.

I can't do that stuff, And I don't know how to get that pirate ship instead of default one. But I have decreased the steps in default one which makes it easier to get up.
Sharks in the water is dumb. The leeches already suck, although you can turn those off.
Turning whilst going down the waterfall is the quickest way to fuck up pw_waterfall.
Maybe for cool effects make the bottom have the pirate ships from last round there
