We experimented with it before, we found that trolling can get out of hand with no admins. (Metroid and myself use to join our own servers with false personas)
Server being made into 24 player server, hopefully won't lag too bad.
It was probably something on the server causing the cheats stuff, i hope.

Speaking your mind on an idea for this gamemode gets you banned from this gamemode for life, Fact.
Ah, I have a idea on how to fix the water in the ship. Instead of making the ship just have the floor separating the ship from the water like this, \_/ Have it so that there is one extra floor on the bottom, so that the water fills that and no one gets hurt in the walkable floor like this \-_-/ the - - being the 2nd floor while the _ being the un enterable floor where the water would fill. Also, add more cannons and maybe even some cannons on the 2nd floor because everyone fights over the cannons due to the fact that only 3 are fired at once. And also yeah some type of captain selection, maybe it's chosen by how many enemy players you have killed and you rank up, and the highest rank is chosen to be captain and only he can drive the ship. And if everyone is the same rank it chooses randomly. I'd prefer it with kills because if it was with time everyone would afk. And take off friendly fire if you can, I constantly kill my teammates on accident. Just trying to help because I love this game mode.
Good idea i have an idea when the ship has enough damage or sinking can it snap in half or when it is rocking the mast or cannon falls off or some part the hull breaks

I need to store some of my stuff on my backup driver but after that I can get to work on crew models.
I'm going to make them a higher poly and improve the skin.
I've decided to try my idea for using models for the ship, but it's different to all your ideas. I am hoping a mix of brushes and model will still keep the gameplay the same but with no "Phazing".

Or just more inaccurate/less deadly muskets?
The musket should have crosshairs, just make it less accurate. It's annoying as fuck to use as it is now.

the muskets should be accurate up to the equivalent of 70 yards, max
same for pistol and the musket looks stupid the way you hold it it like you are using a very long pistol

4 way battles. 4 teams. that way all guns can be used. Or even just three way.

Sounds kinky.
Lower the range of the cannons, battles are now decided by the first team to get on their guns and blow the others masts off rather than any movement at all.
I'm gonna upload some demo files (recordings) but I'm going to make them all into a youtube video eventually.
Yes make cannon not have super range make them like on port where it can't even hit the mast
