Do you got to take all shit so serious? If i wouldn't do shit like that the game would just become bored to me (or to others i guess). That was to spread fear among the other nations so i can annex them easily - it could return good or really bad for me - and it's the neolithic era (now bronze age) i'm sure that they didn't got any concept of diplomacy too.
