Personally I had my own concerns with the USSR. I know that Mr. Face still blames me for the brief war because of my secession, but I was more or less pushed into that by the USSR, and had received misleading/incorrect information about who was going to be involved and to what extent. I have no problem believing that the USSR under Sobotnik could have or would have reason to coerce or mislead the Swiss. There's a reason I'm dissolving it.

No, thanks. I'd rather take over as Canada. There was relative peace in Europe once and looks where that led. I'll forge a new era of peace in the Americas and see if I can't build an alliance between me, Mexico, Columbia, Russia, and maybe USA if he accepts my peace treaty.

Someone fill me in on what the International is. And why the Swiss aren't taking as much blame as the USSR. I feel like this is the Treaty of Versailles with the USSR being the Germans and the Swiss being Austria-Hungary.

I really think Switzerland should take more blame as well. He technically speaking STARTED the war by blockading the Baltic sea, which blocked off naval movement for THREE European countries, and actively sank my vessels in the Baltic, off the African coast, and in the Caribbean.

I'm going to do my best to put the past behind us, forge a new Europe, and create a balance of power while I'm at it. If we can't get over that then we're going to be doomed to repeat.

The war began due to the internal failings of the organisation of the UEN. It was hardly united and passed a few token laws and reforms that changed little. Some nations such as Russia, Germany, Austria and Finland wanted to maintain peace and stability in Europe and foster trade and development. Others such as Denmark, The USSR, Sweden, Switzerland and Portugal tended to follow their own agenda more. Some tried to stay out of Europe completely whilst others even tried to dismantle it. I would blame the war on an ineffective UEN, lack of member nations willingness of support, and the expansionist attitudes of nations within it such as Denmark and the USSR.

And all my ships in the Baltic where in heading to England.

Do you mean your USSR or Reds USSR? Or Both?

The last info I had got was that it was me vs. the Republicans, Danes, and Austrians, with the Soviets giving me fighters and supplies, but not directly involved. Next thing I know, everyone's everywhere. The Soviets were capable and willing to shove the Germans back, especially since the German forces were so stretched into France. I could have potentially cut them off at the border by skipping south and north (but we all know not both) and the Soviets would have raped them. Either way, forget it. We're friends now. Peace and happiness. You're getting your borders back and the Swiss will be limited to native Switzerland and a small stretch of land next to Italy/France.

It was Reds idea to take on Germany and get rid of the UEN. Sobotnik just acted on it.

I don't know first hand, but from my conversations with my allies and Mr. Face, no one wanted the Russians involved for fear of world war, and the Russians didn't want to get involved, for reasons I don't know. I know I had no interest in fighting Russia, but I had expected it until Sobotnik and Mr. Face told me otherwise. Hence the Estonians and early on the Poles acting up, that being my "destabilizing the future enemy" fund at work. Although I had reason to suspect Sob was willing to go through me and Mr. Face to get to Russia.
