He's threatening me. I don't want to deal with him. I mean that. I don't want to be his enemy, but he's not letting me be his friend because he's causing trouble and threatening me over what me and my allies do consensually. I tried to give him free guns. As long as he just shuts up and keeps to his place then I have no problem with him. [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] I don't even care what he does with Algeria, as long as it isn't invasion. He can annex them- I don't care. But he can't butt in and tell me what I can and can't do with my allies. Plus, I need Algeria's support right now, and he's acting threateningly to 'defend' them. That's an indirect threat to my war effort. So yea. He's a cool guy- but he needs to quit with this north Africa stuff.

I'm a small industrialized nation with a big-ass neighbor. I have no interest in hurting him, or expanding into Africa. I couldn't do shit to him without really, really trying. And besides that, he owns so much land that having one neighbor that could potentially be a threat is like, nothing at all.

Even if I were going to annex Algeria, then it wouldn't be his business to 'defend' them if they were to consensually agree. I don't like having Arabia so close to Algeria and Tunisia, and that is threatening to me at the moment, but he doesn't get immunity to threaten me about it when I act with them. I can understand his concerns. His reaction should not be to say he's going to 'defend' a nation he's not allied with against their ally. His "right to threaten or warn you about expanding into Africa" shows nothing but his expansionist policies coming out in his diplomacy. His policy is a different matter, but I'm not going to bother with that.
