The point of this game is to become a strong empire. Hence why it's called "EMPIRES and Revolutions". It's fun. And no one likes someone else telling us that we're wrong while we have fun.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind your "federation" in the Balkans. I don't mind you or your nation. I just don't know who to trust, at all, and right now it looks like everyone is willing to fuck anyone, and me, to get what they want.

There's no point in working out peace and starting a UN if you aren't playing by your politics. I'm not interested in making an empire. I'm interested in starting revolutions.

Soldiers being housed in facilities because they willingly took part in military experiments a long time ago. And I told no one anything different about France. And yes your invasion was an option as was the invasion of Portugal. But we came to a peaceful resolution. It was only an option to stop the creation of another USSR. I would have done it to anyone... and all the nations in the Federation are free and playable NPC's if they aren't already being controlled by a player.

My politics are maple syrup and bettering the nations of those less fortunate. If you want to call it expansionism and imperialism fine but don't you dare condemn me for it when I'm HELPING the people that live there. I'm not the British Empire. I don't tax without representation. I don't harbour slaves. I better the lives of those I annex. Cuba? Was being ripped apart by a bloody civil war. I stopped it and industrialised them. Gave them jobs, electricity, better food, more education, healthcare, etc. Haiti/Dominican Republic? Same thing minus the civil war.

The best I can work out is that West Germany is pissed at the rest of Europe and Canada and Oceania are at blows over who owns the South Pacific.
