- The nation enters a state of instability with multiple resistance groups headed by the ex-generals and those wanting a change of power popping up. Many of these ex-generals are of the ultra conservative branch of islam called Wahhabism. These generals gain the support of fellow Wahabi citizens.
- Albeit there have been small areas taken by the rebels the nation has yet to open into a full on civil war and no official government against the current government has been made.
- A meeting is held with the new generals in which the king attempts to gain their allegiance. This works on some of the generals however some of them are Wahabi and go to side with the new rebellion.
- The Saudi Arabian military scrambled to fight the rebels. Before the end of the year much of the rebel ground has been lost to the military however the few remaining spots of rebellion are holding on with their lives. Areas have descended into complete urban warfare and madness with the rebels heavily dug into their cities
- A great measure is made to make the location of the bombs hidden however due to the open location of them a year before many are found.
- The nation’s infrastructure is devastated from the targeting of bomb-sites by rebel groups. The military has a hard time delivering units to the frontlines to combat rebel troops.
- Oil fields held by foreign companies begin to pull out of Saudi Arabia due to the resistance groups forming however it is too late and they are attacked by resistance groups however no government has decided whether to get involved to protect their companies yet.
- The government begins openly executing ex-generals. Some are found however the ones leading the resistance groups are unable to be found.
- A large military parade is held in the capital of the country. Supporters of the government are not happy seeing as they could be elsewhere fighting the rebels.
- Saudi Arabia reaches out to the US for a trade agreement however there has been no response from the government.
- Saudi Arabia imports military equipment from military superpowers in exchange for oil.
- The government makes a public declaration that their intent of the militarization of the borders was
- The king attends the Mecca wearing rags for robes and stays bowed near the Kaaba for hours gaining the respect of some muslim citizens.
- The railway from Riyadh, Medina, Mecca, and Hafar Al Batin are finished. However Hafar Al Batin has been captured by a resistance group. The military makes an effort to assault the city to gain it back under control however the intense urban fighting in the city has been at a stalemate with much of the city turning against the government in fear of the ruthless rebels in charge of it.
- The government reaches to other muslim countries in the middle-east in hopes for an alliance with them. Bordering countries remain wary due to the possibility of a foreign intervention in favor of either the current government or the rebels. An alliance with them however is possible after it has been found that no intervention against the current government will happen.
- Many of the current rebel groups headed by citizens hope to implement a democracy. However groups headed by the ex-generals wish to implement an Oligarchy with them at the head of it.
- Saudi Arabia raises tariffs on American companies and others for oil however keeps it cheaper from other sources.

- The president openly makes a speech of the stupidness of the Saudi Arabian king and laughs at them. This pisses off Saudi Arabia.
- North Korea is told that they won’t do shit against the US by the president and it comes true, NK doesn’t do shit.
- The government begins rebuilding the pentagon from the planes botched collision which is required to be finished by September 11th, 2002.
- Russia in denounced for their attacks on Chechnya.
