That's a shame. Doesn't it increase the slot count to 25 by default, to make up for the extra player? I presume it's the hosting company that governs how many slots in total though.

I don't like subway.
The recording seems to be working, even though it doesn't actually require the extra slot.
I've also disabled spectating through sourcetv unless there's actual need for it.
I'll see if I'm gonna make the demos publicly available.

Create script, downloads demo files via ftp. Stores directory.
While you're at it make it do sprays too then I can figure out a way to make my server run vtflib to convert them. :v:

Only issue is at the moment, you can't run Vtex or VTFlib on linux so I can't convert the vtfs to jpg. :geno:
I'll have to ask the nom-nom-nom.us guys as to how they did it, I'd hate to have to emulate it which I think they are.

Too bad my webhost not that fast in uploads, but hey the demos are up for downloading.
As you can probably see from there, we need to manually get it to download the files.
This system is probably horribly inefficient, I'll see if there's a better way to do it (probably).
I'll do the sprays later.

You can also record as if you were a spectator, overcoming the greatest of demo-recording obstacles - seeing yourself in thirdperson while driving the camera anywhere you please.

Still working on that, it takes a slot but counts sourcetv as a bot, which in turn doesn't count towards playercount it seems. derp.

Actually, it only seems to do so on certain places, for me in detailed server window and the steam browser. It's 23 players in ingame server browser. Need to fix it more.
TF2 would not be TF2 without all those little bugs and quirks we know and love.

The filesizes differ, which means it didn't download off the server properly.
I need to think of a different system.
Some others work alright though.
