SCP Minecraft thread - Who keeps putting sugar cane in my office?! - Games

Hmm, only started reading into SCP a week or so ago, spreading to Minecraft of all places too. Seems like an interesting idea, especially with the periodic containment breaches. Are you still accepting members?

Holy mackerel, that is a ton of glow stone. So is this the server version of the one CheeseMan made? Its certainly impressive. I tried to make an underground bunker system of my own once, eventually gave up due to the monotony of mining in order to clear space, but with more people it must go at a decent pace.

24.22.173.113:25565 is the backup server if anyone wants to test things out they'd usually get banned for on the main server. It's a corrupt map, so I'm just testing things on it. [editline]sp[/editline] Scratch that, it's now down - that's what I get for thawing 10,000 blocks in one go.

Why is it that when I try to join the server is down?

Saza is asleep so the main server is down, and needateam's server would be up but I accidentally murdered it.

We desperately need a dedicated server, how about using ChipIn to collect funds each month and renting a server from LethalDrive?

Incidentally, I think ineedateam's server may be very slightly dropbox synced with the main one. I hope you haven't broken it too much.

Nah, the maps are separate. Ineed's one is missing the entire facility, it's basically a newly-generated world. Unless it suddenly began syncing when I left, there should be nothing to worry about. In the off-chance that it is somehow, you'll have a bit of snow to clean up and a severely fucked up town a ways off from the facility.

Odd, that's definitely the town from the main server. We did quite a bit of work on it while waiting for people to turn up.
