Also Montenegro is screwy, plus Kosovo isn't on the map.

I made this map, which reflects the de facto state of things in the world, such as partially or un-recognized countries and borders which are disputed but in reality are under the jurisdiction of one country.
(For example Somalia has Somaliland, an unrecognized but independent country, as well as the Islamic Emirate of Somalia which controls those two strips of territory and is, you guessed it, run by Islamists)
I might join in on this. Only I'm not sure which nation I wanna be, though.

I took the liberty to just touch up the Italian-Slovenian border, the Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan border and (poorly) added the micro-states of Europe (Andorra, San Marino, Lichtenstein, Vatican City and Monaco). I would've added Sealand and the German/Italian exclaves in Switzerland, but I didn't want to make it a bigger mess.
