Also should we use the old europe map or a world map?

I'm for world map, sounds more fun because, idk, a) it keeps more naval combat in and b) i like to be able to settle in cool places. plus it spaces out everyone.

I am up for the game, hopefully this time it won't have any drama.

I'd prefer it but I never use Gog and I don't have the money anyway, maybe someday.

why not use GOG? I bought it there and it works fine.

Either way, I have 0 money.

I noticed my copy, with no patches or anything, is version 1.2 in vanilla and 1.0 in the expansion.

Yea game is set for tomorrow anyway. Everybody have vanilla EE2 up to 1.2, profan will give links to his modified europe map and population mod I assume.

Guys, our conversation in the group chat room, I found a difference between EE2 and the Expansion, the expansion has the custom starting forces editor rather than just the 12 presets.

We just found something out the hard way Every copy of EE2 from GoG.com uses the same CD key and it blocks us from playing with each-other. We may be forced to grab some CD keys from, fingerquotes, "somewhere" Games in progress feels so dead and empty, it reminds me of your generic post apocalyptic scenario with groups of "survivors" in their groups.

pirating in this situation may not be considered wrong, when you take into the fact that you BOUGHT it and it's no longer support by the company. I bought mine on GOG but I'm not even sure where I got my copy from.
