Shit, I discovered that one of the walls to my sea dome is slightly lopsided, so I decided to make a quick renovation. So I removed the entire southern wall (flooding my basement in the process) and now I can't seem to make walls meet correctly :suicide:
Awesome, I made a cobblestone generator that uses one lava source block, one water source block, and generates 3 cobblestone in a row, as well as making all cobble drift towards the player!
Now I can mine cobblestone all day long and not even have to move the mouse!
Make it so it goes around the corner directly into obsidian, the cobble will break.
Make it so it goes around the corner directly into obsidian, the cobble will break.
Me, squid and profan made one in the previous map and it auto broke the cobble.

That's what doesn't happen now. I built a test one, it won't crush anything. The piston just doesn't move.
Profan removed it because people had cobble generators running causing a shitload of cobble items to lay around lagging.
What if you made a mod that makes any block pushed into the front of a dispenser actually go into the dispenser?
Actually I suppose that might be a little too easy.

Finally opened that trade post at spawn. I'm still stocking it and working out who's going to man it, but the 2k subway and building is finished.
Ok its been way over two weeks and im still banned. Could Profan try fixing this Flubbernugget has tried to.

So uh.. the bedrock of the Nether. Plenty to do here.
Beautiful landscape you have there :v:
"Why do you want to be whitelisted."
To grief, why else, duh. I mean it's not like it's needed gives you access to the server. :v:
Haven't seen Profan post for a while, when's the lightning mod coming?
Alright sorry I haven't been on much and haven't updated the carto, I've been very busy with things more important, will get to most of it now.
[editline]30th September 2011[/editline]
One of them being the website blog thing!
Check out the front page!

Taking a look at my coordinates, I noticed I'm at y:129.62, meaning I'm not at the bedrock of Nether, I'm on the Nether's ceiling. Mind is baffled.

Your horror is back!
So guys, I'm in America! I was up for 24+ hours, I would sleep in the terminal and drool all over my hoodie and shirt. I went to sleep at 2am and woke up at 8am. I went on facebook and saw that my friends back in England were still online. Turns out it was around 5-6pm there.
So I'll be able to play with you guys on my days off of school and on the weekend! I plan on getting a job soon though so I'm not sure how often you'll see me on weekends.
Also, did you know that Port Travis was named after the Military Base I'm at now? (minus the port part)
As soon as I get my computer back I'll be playing with you all again! Or once I fix this laptop to let me play.

Ok, update on the Brimstone tradepost, we are opening this upcoming Sunday (Easter US timezone). What wondrous things do we have to offer?
Cobblestone, Smoothstone, and Smoothstone Brick in LARGE quantities.
Clay Brick
Wheat, Seeds, and Watermelon in large amounts.
LABOR! We're working on a big, secret project that is plainly visible from the carto. Contact me for more information.
Trade! I'll be setting up a "chest room" with different locked chests for each major supplier my group trades with. We'll leave payments in the chest, which will be switched out with whatever we're trading for. Kind of hard to describe, I need to get in touch with the owners of whatever big cities are popular now.
Gem and Ore exchange! I'll be posting the rates tomorrow, but we have large stocks of almost every gem/ore, including diamond, which may be exchanged with us for set prices. In other words, if you have a shitton of iron but no diamonds, come to our trade post and swap 'em out.
I officially announce the subway between Klippan and Spawn 95% done! All the digging is complete and we just need to decorate it and put rails!
So, uh. I don't know if anyone remembers me from the Alpha (I made a squid farm in the nether with nissehutt), but I'll probably be frequenting the server a bit more now. Hope to see you all there.
How do i fix the Minecraft Out of Memory issue>? I have 4GB or rm, so I should be fine, right? I have Java7 64bit and Java6 32bit installed.

I remember you! :D I'm Finvpwner
I remember you! :D I'm Finvpwner
We fought against that rage-noob :v:
Oh yeah by the way, everyone should be making lightning conductors
Fence + redstone torch ontop of your house!
[editline]1st October 2011[/editline]
Tried moving to new permissions, went back to old system.
It still works so eh.
You can now set your own pvp status with /pvp on and /pvp off!
[editline]1st October 2011[/editline]
Oh and we might make a npc dungeon of some sort.
[editline]1st October 2011[/editline]
Oh yeah, port travis is raped pretty bad from the lightning
Some houses have holes in their roofs, city hall is missing half of its roof, Shelbo's house has had its entire second floor annihilated and there's two giant craters near the town center. Lighthouse near port travis had its top blown away and lava is pouring out. Along with smaller damages all around Travis. Start putting up lightning conductors so it won't happen again, a fence stick with a redstone torch on top of it on a roof will protect.
[editline]1st October 2011[/editline]
deadly lightning is awesome, please dont remove it
[editline]1st October 2011[/editline]
it can be easily prevented with a lightning conductor so it should be allowed on the server
Having a bit of action in the middle of spergy building is what this game needs
Requesting a ban for dancooleo for building without permission in Cliffhaven and making generally ugly and half-assed structures, and for griefing by use of Creepers and not repairing the damage.
How do i fix the Minecraft Out of Memory issue>? I have 4GB or rm, so I should be fine, right? I have Java7 64bit and Java6 32bit installed.
What I did to fix this issue was first make sure that Minecraft was running off Java7 64bit, then I adjusted the settings on said Java to allow more memory to be allocated to Java while playing.
You can do this by going to your Control Panel, searching for 'Java' in the 'Search Control Panel' box at the top right, then opening the Java program that should come up from the search. Go to the 'Java' tab and click View. Make sure you have only one version of Java running, presumably 64bit for your 64bit OS, and then go to the Runtime Parameters section of that version. Decide how much RAM memory you want as a maximum to be focused on Minecraft, and use this template: -Xincgc -XmxM, where the amount of memory will go between the 'x' and 'M' in the second parameter. For example, "-Xincgc -Xmx2048M" would be putting 2048 Megabytes, so a little over 2Gb. That should fix your problem, since it did with mine.
If you want a quick and simple fix, even though this can be relatively simple, you can always turn your fog to 'normal' instead of 'far', since I've heard that's a bug people have had with Windows 7 (I used the Java fix and I'm using Windows 7, so I would recommend the former 'fix').
