I came across the pyramid and took the liberty of putting a few lightning conductors on the top. Maybe y'all should put a bunch on asap cause lightning was striking near it just now.
We've never encountered lightning in that desert, but if it ever becomes and issue we've got tons of 'em stored away. Thanks :smile:
I think lightning only occurs during rain and it never rains in deserts.

We're getting closer to completion, but we've got a ton of work to do on the Pyramid. When it is finished, I think you all will be pleased. Tomorrow I'm going to be releasing information on the way the pyramid's insides will be layed out. I'm going to guess we've got 2 weeks to completion. If you are interested in helping, [b]pm me, we desperately need workers[/b]. I'll talk about the benefits of building the pyramid tomorrow as well.

Well, I'm always alone, but I mean, alone alone..
It never rains in the desert and lightning rarely strikes. that's why I move to the desert. The down side is that hostile mobs spawn faster here and friendly mobs such as sheep and cows are incredibly rare.
Somebody move to California and be my friend.

By the way, that pyramid looks awesome.
So, I've been thinking of starting a scenery+underground settlement project based around STALKER's Generator Site:

This is currently just the surface level plus desing of the surface nodes of the Generators, it should be going further down, but I'll decide on doing that if I get somebody to join me in construction.
There's also some decoration to be done around the place, but that's less important than building the basics of the place.

In on topic news, the Pyramid (we're still arguing over the name :v:) is going to be broken up into 4 50*50 block districts, and [b]the pyramid as a whole is only going to be a part of New Brimstone.[/b]
The four districts are:
[b]Mining District[/b]
This district is for people who enjoy and are good at mining. Will feature a 50*50*3 space underneath for extra storage space and minecart paths. Upon the pyramid's opening, this district will be complete with 4 mineshafts leading to untouched caves and ravines.
[b]Agricultural District[/b]
This district is for those who enjoy farming. I will do my best to get these people mob spawners. Comes with a permit to dig multiple underground farms/basements up to 18 blocks deep, allowing for massive scale farms.
[b]Trading and Hotel District[/b]
This district will contain a "mall" for multiple small and large scale traders from around the map, and potion shops. It will also contain an inn.
[b]Capital District[/b]
Contains the capital building.

I'm getting a lot of ideas for towns by being here in America. I'm moving more towards the gridded street system although I like a branching street idea better, its easier to navigate. Take a fern, a system like that. Thats how the base is set up here.
I'm also being inspired by mountain villages such as in the Lake Tahoe area. I read a magazine article on some and if we can get snow biomes back in and they can appear in any other biome I would love to start one in a pine/mountain biome.

Just try to stick close to the people in your class. I remember when i started the Gymnasium (kind of like high school), there where none that i new, but during class and between class i asked if i could sit with them and after a while i became friends with them.
I want to thank NIDORAX for fixing my moat and making my bridge lightning proof.
And I didn't even ask for it.
I can now announce that Klippan is slowly starting to accept new people to our town. But the lots are limited and we are only giving them out to trusted players.
So if you feel that you are one of those trusted players, please let me or Nisse know either on this thread or in game and we will decide if you are worthy of having a lot!
