The idea is that snow doesn't gather on them, that's why they're slanted (so the snow doesn't pile on and collapse the roof :v:)
Otherwise they don't look as good without stairs/halfblocks.

It's a helluva lot of work, and I don't even know what you were planning after doing the main halls. It's pretty much untouched. If you came back to work on it I'd gladly help again.
